Cares about his patients. Love Lisa, Sydney and Nicole.
Ummed's staff is incompetent, inconsistent, rude, untrustworthy and inconsiderate. They are always losing documents, never answering calls, and never taking responsibility of relaying the message to the doctor. Every since Ummed took over D'Amato patients, the same care should have been the same or better. But its not. Its terrible. He does not read up on your case before seeing you. His demeanor and bedside manner is terrible just like his staff. If you are coming to see him its because you have life threatening, rare or odd disease. He doesn't let you fully explain any concerns. If you have any you feel bad for bringing it up. So you dont need someone or something else making you feel worse. I hate the care I've been getting and looking to go elsewhere. Im a paying insured customer thats very compliant. I should have the care that I pay for not abuse.
Does not cover concerns. Is not compassionate and willing to participate in overall care beyond the blood.
He treats you like you are his only patient. Dr. Ummed is caring, no sugar coating and treats you like he would want to be treated. Never rushing you to get to next patient. Very special doctor.
Long wait times. Unfamiliar with the case before each appointment. Very poor follow up.
Great care
Dr Ummed is excellent. He is a top notch professional who loves his patients and his work. I highly recommend him for Sarcoma patients.
First visit was wonderful. Looking forward to seeing how the treatment works.
MD treats pt. he "likes" (i.e. with importantant titles or people of importance - or people who can do "favors" for him) with more care than others. He does not treat each patient equally.
Very caring doctor, however, he needs to get rid of the sassy nurse. She lacks compassion for his patients. Her attitude could make a person jump out of their skin. The quality of patient care depends on her mood. I really don't understand why she is in the field that she is in. Yes, her name is Lynn or Lin.
