Dr. Williams is an excellent surgeon. I would recommend him to anyone who asks. He performed an emergency surgery on me last week and saved my life(and quality of life). Couldn’t be more thankful that he is a part of my care team!

After working at this office for half of a decade, the new administrator Mr Michael Andrews has started terminating all of the great employees.... He has no sense of what he is doing, he has no medical field experience and has the nerve to try to run a medical office. In the front desk lady Brandy is also extremely conniving in a bad look for the company... It's unfortunate that Mr Andrews at 64 years old has an opportunity to run such a prestigious company. But it's no surprise he's doing a horrible job, he's running the patients off as well as all of the co-workers making it a hostile environment to work in. He is an embarrassment to the company and I pray that Dr Williams and Dr Curtis find another administrator and quickly. For the patient's sake, and for the employees sake. Ever since he's resided at lesi it has been nothing but drama and turmoil. We must do better?

Dr. Michael Williams did my surgery July 2015. He saved my life . I am 4'11 was close to being 300 pounds. I lost 150 pounds. If it wasn't for him I could be dead right now. I have never had a doctor that listens to you when you talk to him about your struggles and problems with your health. He takes his time with you talking to you. He cares about your health . I usually have to drive 30-60 to see him. But I am not complaining. I am very thankful to find him . Not only is he a great doctor but his office staff is top notch like him. I wish I could give him 20 stars.

I had bariatric (Roux-en-Y gastric bypass) surgery in August 2017. My highest weight was 285, and today my weight is 139.6. Yay! I’ve lost over 145 lbs. and 5 pants sizes (3X to M). I no longer have diabetes (type 2), acid reflux (GERD), bladder stress incontinence, or sleep apnea. I have less foot and back pain, and my fibromyalgia symptoms are greatly reduced. My depression is so much better on a daily basis, probably because I’m no longer stuck in the bed! My diet is so much healthier, and I’m no longer addicted to sugar. My sincerest thanks to Dr. Michael D. Williams and his team for performing this life-changing surgery and for giving me the tools to live a more fulfilling life!!! I also thank God for directing me to Dr. Williams and giving me the strength to stick with the program.

If you're thinking about getting a Bariatric surgery done, I certainly recommend Dr. Williams and Dr. Curtis. They are very knowledgeable and will guide you through your journey. I opted to get the sleeve done. My insurance required that I have a 6 month diet plan prior so I went to see Dr. Williams and Dr. Curtis every month to complete this. The ladies in the office are also ALL fantastic. They answer any questions you have and make you feel comfortable. I loved getting to see them monthly. They got to know me and my baby (she had to tag along for a lot of the visits) and have made this process an easy one. Rose, who handles the insurance and scheduling of the surgery has also been absolutely wonderful. She helped me to make sure that I could have surgery when my family would be in town. Before going anywhere else, make a visit. You certainly will not regret it! It could be the best decision you've ever made. It was for me.

If possible I would give him zero stars. Truly incompetent staff (they got my gender, surgery and name wrong (esp the name!). Calls go unanswered, lied to the insurance company (still waiting for that 'call back' (yes I know you are reading this review Dr W....it is YOUR NAME on the door, NOT THEIRS. You can get better info online that from his "staff". Oh, when someone is on the table, don't take a pot-shot at them. If I had listened to him I would be dead. Nope.

Dr Williams and staff are THE BEST! I was with him October 2010 - Johns Creek Hospital - I was 287 and currently 169. No horrible reactions in 5 years - no sickness - I feel great. Love the way he smiles when he see you at the office - makes you feel wonderful and Janet as well. The girls at the office keep it all together, from reception to financial advisor. I love them all. Thank you for helping me change my life!
