Dr. Moore has been the best surgeon I have ever had. He is very informative, compassionate, and kind. Before scheduling my surgery, we thoroughly discussed his recommendations as well as my bladder issues. He even used a diagram of the body to show me where my organs were located, where they should be, and to help me better understand the procedure. Tara is the best nurse I have ever encountered. I know I called the office numerous times just to make sure everything I was experiencing was normal, and she always reassured me with kindness and patience while addressing all of my concerns. On the day of my surgery, Dr. Moore came in beforehand to check on me, and he also came by the following day to make sure I was doing well, comfortable, and not in pain. He genuinely cared about my recovery and made sure everything was going as expected. This has been the best medical experience I've ever had, and I am extremely satisfied that I chose Dr. Moore's office for my surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Moore and his team to anyone looking for exceptional care.

After being diagnosed with multi-compartment pelvic organ prolapse following childbirth, I felt overwhelmed, to say the least. As a young, active mother, it was difficult to imagine what the future would look like and how this diagnosis would impact my life. I managed my symptoms conservatively for several years before ultimately deciding to pursue surgery to address the underlying damage. Living in the Northeast, I consulted with several prominent urogynecologists at major hospitals throughout Boston and New York City. Unfortunately, I was disappointed by what felt like a cookie-cutter approach and, at times, a dismissive attitude toward my concerns. I was referred to Dr. Miklos by one of his colleagues, who spoke very highly of him and felt his approach would be a good fit for me. He was the eighth surgeon I consulted with, and it only took one virtual appointment for me to know that he was the right surgeon for my situation. Dr. Miklos’s approach is thoughtful, logical, and evidence-based, while also being deeply compassionate. He took the time to answer my questions honestly and thoroughly, and he was willing to acknowledge when something was uncertain—an uncommon and admirable quality in a surgeon. I felt that my concerns were truly heard and addressed. He even took the time to personally respond to questions I sent via email that came up after our visit together. Additionally, his 5-year patient outcomes are impressive and compare favorably with published data in the field. His office staff, including his medical assistant Tara, provided exceptional support throughout the entire perioperative experience, including helping me navigate care as an out-of-state patient. I am now almost four months post-surgery and am thrilled to share that I am prolapse-free with excellent pelvic floor support. I am incredibly grateful for the care I received and hopeful that I will continue to enjoy decades of success.

Dr. Miklos was able to completely remove my mesh after two other surgeons told me it would be impossible. If you are experiencing mesh pain and complications, which I lived with for years, talk to Dr. John Miklos. During my consult, he was able to accurately describe my symptoms before I could explain to him what I was going through. His nurses are great, the office staff super friendly and I am finally pain free.

I cannot recommend Dr. Miklos enough. Going to the doctor can be stressful, but he instantly puts you at ease. He explained everything clearly and answered all of my questions thoroughly. A truly excellent, experienced and patient Dr. also takes you on time for appointment and no long waits

I recently had an initial consultation with Dr. Moore regarding postpartum concerns. This would have been my second procedure, so I wanted an honest and thorough evaluation before moving forward. Dr. Moore was extremely personable, knowledgeable, and took the time to provide individualized care. What impressed me most was his honesty. Rather than recommending surgery right away, he advised me to continue resting and healing postpartum and follow up with him in a few months to reassess my progress. I had Bladder Mesh/Sling surgery in 2021 to correct a 2nd degree cystocele. For the next 5 years, I dealt with chronic and debilitating pain which radiated from my lower back through my lower pelvic region and down my inner thighs. The pain was unbearable; constantly throbbing and aching. I had several evaluations from well-established physicians throughout North Carolina specializing in Urogynecology (including Duke University), however, those physicians would not accept me because it seemed a complex case or simply, they did not have the experience/confidence to go forward. In fact, one physician advised me to take Vaginal Valium for the rest of my life and just live with the pain. Thank goodness my primary Urogynecologist referred me to Dr Miklos of Miklos and Moore Urogynecology in Atlanta for evaluation. Once I met and discussed my concerns with Dr Miklos, I felt very confident he could help me. He is a great listener and had a good, solution-minded insight into my concerns. It was obvious with his many years of experience in treating mesh-related complications. Unbelievably, I am now pain free! I had surgery 10 weeks ago to remove the mesh along with some other bladder and Urogyn procedures. The very next day after surgery I felt immediate relief from the pain related to the mesh. Dr Miklos and his staff, including Tara and Sarah, are the best in their profession. I would 100% recommend Dr Miklos for any person who is dealing with mesh and bladder issues. 100%!!

Today marks one year since my surgery, and I can honestly say it was the best decision I have ever made for myself. I was born with a rare condition called MRKH, but I didn’t find out until I was 15 years old. Receiving that diagnosis was one of the hardest moments of my life. Because I remember how isolating my diagnosis felt, I wanted to leave this review for other girls and young women with MRKH who may be feeling scared, overwhelmed, or alone. Today, one year later, I am happier than I ever imagined possible. I finally get to experience a sense of womanhood that I once thought might never be available to me.
