If there is 0 stars..I would select it!! Ready ladies? As we know we must have our mamograms for early detection...I have been going to this breast center for over 6 years and each year they call me back for another review.  I have had 2-d, 3-d, ultrasounds, you name it. EACH YEAR, then they surprise you with a bill that is outrageous..and btw, your insurance does NOT cover it.  So recently, knowing the history, I delayed a year and my PCP requested it.  I go and of course get called back, then they say I have "calcifications of a breast area" and need a biopsy.  OK! if that is what I need, then no problem...however, they NEVER shared a single xray/radiograph with me of my before and what they now have found.  Worried..I left and scheduled appt as soon as possible.  When I went for my appt today, they wanted to charge me $10,000 and my portion was over $1k dollars without ever seeing an xray, without calling me to arrange such extreme payment arrangements. They wait until your in the office..worried to death..to grab your wallet.  I understand there is a need for prescreening..I also see there are people that take advantage of that and this is that center. I over heard several being called back for the same thing. Please go some where else like Emory or Wellstar..these folks are crooks!!

Called to make an appointment for an MRI.  Of course, I was on hold right from the get go, okay fine.  When someone finally picked up there was not a trace of a pleasant tone on the other end of the phone until someone in her office must have walked by her and her tone changed to a friendly, upbeat, "Hi!  How are you today?" I was treated very well by the staff, but cheated by the billing office. While having surgery, the doctor took care of a minor second issue(because I was there a it only took 5 minutes). So the billing office billed for the entire use of the facility twice. The reason given was because they can. It cost me an additional $2400 out of pocket. I have no recourse except to warn others of the lack of ethics of this place.
