List of Peachtree Orthopedics's Reviews
Called to make an appointment, gave my insurance information, woman on phone was having a difficult time pulling up information. I offered to send a copy of my card so she could look at the other numbers to help with pulling insurance information. She declined.I went to appointment the next day with my papers filled out and ready to see doctor when I was told that they still didn’t have my information pulled. I have a PPO with a reputable and large insurance company.I even called insurance company while I was in office, gave them correct number to use but nothing.I waited…. I then said, may I see doctor, and if you still haven’t received information, I can self pay and be reimbursed. The doctor said, “no”, I needed to pay first. It was their mistake. Whatever happened to taking care of people? What happened to the Hippocratic oath?I understand it is your job and you want to be paid, I believe that as well; I was going to pay.Try putting people first, you may go further, experience peace.
Was terrible to even set an appointment. Fro start to finish this place was terrible - unhelpful and did not care about quality of care.
I had rotator cuff surgery and I am a cash paying patient because my insurance wasn't going to cover it. I was told the total cost of what the surgery was going to cost and was told that I had to pay ahead of time before I can schedule the surgery. I paid both the doctor's fee as well as the surgery center fee in full. It's been about 5 months now and I am getting all these additional charges that they are trying to collect on now and they never call you back. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor's office!
Extremely difficult to schedule/reschedule an appointment via telephone. I have tried multiple times to reschedule one and couldn't reach anyone even after 1/2 hour hold. It also prompts to enter a number so that they can call back. I did so couple of times and its been weeks I did not get a call back.
As an Ortho rep several years ago, I worked extensively with POC physicians and personnel. Everyone has always been professional, friendly and very good at what they do. Lately, I've had to get some rehab done on my back and shoulder (Drs. Owen & Griffith). They quickly assessed the problems and developed good treatment plans. I went to Daniel for PT, and I can't say enough about his capabilities- he not only develops good regimens for proper healing, he explains it to you so you can have the knowledge of what the issues are while your doing the PT at home (to me, knowing what's going on and what specific things need to be fixed helps me do the exercises correctly). I've been able to successfully rehab both my back and shoulder without missing a beat with my life/work schedules. I fully recommend POC to anyone and everyone!
Many thanks to Dr. Carreira, Brian Daitch and all the staff at the Alpharetta and West Paces locations! I came to them after being with a general ortho for 3 weeks and I am so thankful I sought the opinion of a specialist who deals with my specific injury on a daily basis. Dr. Carreira was very informative and took the time to listen to my concerns and fears unlike previous practitioners at other offices. He let me make the best choice in treatment for myself, and was compassionate and understanding of my concerns and situation. I chose the surgery route and was very pleased with my surgery experience as well. Will definitely recommend Peachtree Ortho to anyone in need of an orthopedics!
Came here for a possible broken bone after checking with my insurance that this practice was in network, which it was. Turns out I did have a fracture for which they told me there was nothing to be done except wear a boot and bear weight as able. All of this was fine until I received their bill.Without even requiring me to schedule a follow up or informing me in advance they charged me for a "90 day global period of treatment." According to them this is standard procedure for fractures and follow up treatment. The thing is the portion my insurance decided not to cover costs about $500 for treatment I had not received, did not consent to, and was the equivalent of over EIGHT offices visit co-pays to their office. This was a minor fracture, and whatever follow up treatment I would need does not equate to that.So my advice to anyone considering this office would be to prepare yourself for a shock on your bill if you broke a bone. I hope your insurance is better than mine. This billing practice is quite the scam.
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The wait was less than five minutes. Dr. Langenbeck was pleasant, informative and thorough. I would definitely recommend to others!
The entire team at the M.D. and P.T. sides of this clinic are outstanding! I've had the pleasure of healing my knee, foot, heel, and ankle with Dr. Pennington, Delicia, Jackson, Daniel, and Sierra always greats me with a great welcome before P.T. sessions. If you're looking for a whole body solution, this team knows how to treat more than just the issue you believe is occurring! Thanks Peachtree Orthopedics!
Dr. Ugwonali, Dr. Carrier and Dr. Chang have really been pivotal to my recovery after an auto accident. They are thorough, each with great skill and technique. All treatments and injections have been helpful in pain relief. Far superior to my previous experience at Barbour orthopedics where I never met my Orthopedics Dr. and had the worst and most painful steroid injections in my life.I am grateful for the personal care I am receiving and appreciate all of my Dr's/surgeons time and expertise!! Glad I found them!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
