Regarding the service rendered, I have nothing but good things to say. My daughter was seen within a few minutes of arriving. She was tested for Flu A & B, as well as Strep. Results arrived within minutes, and the prescriptions were ready within minutes of completing the appointment. We even received a follow-up call a few days later just to check on my daughter - something you just don't get anymore.What I'm extremely disgruntled about is the lack of information provided to me about their billing procedures. On the wall at the clinic, you can view their self-pay rates. However, we have insurance, which requires a $30 co-pay. We were informed they took our insurance. Our policy info was collected and entered, and we paid the $30 copay. What I was NOT told was that they would bill the insurance for FOUR TIMES more than the self-pay rate and that they aren't actually contracted with BCBS, so it would be out-of-network. OK... I'll accept responsibility for assuming when they said, "Yes, we take BCBS." they were in-network and that I should have double-checked this myself with my insurance company. BUT charging 4 times the self-pay amount ?!?! The self-pay rate for the services rendered is $132 (it's on the wall). They billed my insurance for $538. My insurance paid them $258.56. They billed me for the remaining amount (less the $30 copay I already paid!)...$249.44.So, let me get this right... I pay a monthly premium to have health insurance, I pay my $30 co-pay, you get paid $258.56 from my insurance, and then I am billed another $250 on top of that when the self-pay rate is $132???? I would have just chosen the self-pay rate had I known they would charge FOUR TIMES the self-pay amount and that they aren't in-fact contracted with BCBS and that I would be responsible for the difference of what BCBS would pay for out-of-network! Ugh.And, THEN, when I called today to dispute it since they have already received $153.56 more than the self-pay rate, they refused to make any adjustment/write-off. They said they would just take me to collections if I haven't paid it by the fourth billing cycle. I asked to speak with the manager. The manager essentially told me the same thing. So, I am now waiting on a call-back from the Supervisor, Wanda. They have already been paid $288.56 for a $132 self-pay service. They can take me to collections if need be, but I'm not giving them anymore. And I do intend to file a formal dispute/complaint if this doesn't get resolved to my satisfaction b/c this is ridiculous. We don't spend our hard-earned money for health insurance every month to then be taken advantage of in this way.

I went here for a required health screen and had a great experience. The doctor was straightforward, professional, understanding, kind and had me in and out in less than 40 minutes. I highly recommend this location for basic health services.

They charged $297 for a woman to look at a bug bite and tell me it's a bug bite. Oh, and she took my blood pressure. My insurance only payed $118 so I still owed $178. DO NOT EVER GO HERE. IT IS A RACKET, PURE AND SIMPLE. I will never attend a Piedmont Healthcare facility again in my life.

I would give these women 6 stars if I could! I basically use them as a PC because I trust them so much. Their bedside manner is superb and they follow-up with a phone call a few days after your visit if they deem it necessary. None of my PC's have ever called me to follow-up. These women truely care.

Although the care here was fine, I would avoid them like the plague.I have insurance and they charged my insurer 3.33 times the amount of an uninsured, self-pay patient. The out of pocket for me is over 2 times what I would have paid if given the option to self-pay.It reeks of fraud and abuse of health insurance. If you have to go, ask first what the rates are for self-pay vs. insurer.Or better yet, find a respectable health care provider that is not trying to gouge you and the insurance industry.
