List of Malcolm Floyd's Reviews
Dr. Floyd has cared for both my wife and myself for several years dating back to his time at Phoebe Family in Albany.. its because of the excellent care we received there that we moved with his practice that we continued to have him care for us even when he relocated to Americus. He is a physician who takes time to listen to his patients and address all of our concerns. We feel especially blessed to have Dr. Floyd managing our health care. Over the years he has become a part of our family. I will personally say that this is one that Phoebe got right. His office staff however leaves a lot to be desired. Thanks Dr. Floyd for being such an amazing health care provider.
The first few years Dr. Floyd was hands on in my care but after many years that have gone by he has changed. He no longer will answer when you call. The staff at the office are very rude and do not care about their patients.Dr. Floyd canceled my appointment with him and I was not informed. He basically dropped me as his patient.Which is fine with me.Do not go to him
I dont know about the Dr. but as for the staff they are not customer service savvy at all When it comes to responding to medical inquiries I had to keep calling to get feedback on my requests for medical attention for my mother. I feel a sense of neglected when it comes to getting help from this office and I dont appreciate it.
Dr. Floyd is a very thorough compassionate knowledgeable and personable physician. He takes the time to know his patients and makes every effort to provide updates and test results personally. I am VERY SATISFIED with the care that I receive from Dr. Floyd now and over the past 3+ years.
Dr. Floyd is a great doctor if you need paperwork go at least 2 weeks before it’s needed.
Ive seen Dr Floyd two times since I started to see him . He is very thorough with my health concerns . Dr Floyd is so kind and has a great personality . He is the Best Im so happy I found him and have a Dr that explains your condition to you and follows up. I recommend him to everyone looking for the Greatest primary Dr call Dr Floyd .
Dr. Floyd is like family to us. He is a fine physician who takes interest in our family. He is always just a phone call away. I have complete trust in him.
Dr. Malcolm Floyd is an excellent doctor He is smart he is attentive and he listens to his patients. He is detailed. He also has the best bedside manners that I have ever seen. Now some of his assistants are very slothful. It may take them 2 to 6 weeks to get an order out such as equipment or orders for other services other that medication Rxs. They are okay with that.
On my first visit he was very nice and seemed to be the knowledgeable compassionate professional doctor I have been seeking since living here in americus. But after that I have no good news...first of all the nurse is the only person you really deal with and thats through messages to the doctor...if you have issues in between your visits too bad...i was told to take a med for pain that had 2 ingredients that I CAN NOT have one of them on my allergy list which they have the other caffeine which who prescribes to a heart patient with 10% ejf.. right.. then to top that off when I brought it to their attention they basically said the only thing he can do is refer me to pain management...now I had an ultrasound and xrays done after that first visit...ummm...so why havent I seen the doctor to go over what he saw? Hmmmm...and since when cant you see your PCP in between visits if you are having issues? Yea moving back to Atlanta because the Healthcare in this town is HORRIBLE THANKS FOR NOTHING I am so sad because I was actually referred to him by THE BEST doctor in this town but now he is retired...I am super sad and will now start looking for a house back in civilization...
I believe Dr. Floyd is a very knowledgeable physician but if you call for an appointment and are a current patient and he is booked up for over a month its time to find another physician. They are either overbooking his patients or he has too many.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
