The staff at the front desk was nice, but the doctor was HORRIBLE !!! I went and and told him what my problem was and he just glanced at my skin and then told me that I had a certain skin disorder ( he said it so fast that it took a while for my brain to function), then he left the room extremely fast ! After that he came back with my prescription and tried to leave the room again, this time I stopped him and tried to talk to him about my skin condition and things I need to know about it ... he handed my a book and left ! Very unprofessional ! I feel like he do not care about his patients at all, because a real doctor would have sat down and talked to his or her patient about their problem.
If I could rate this practice a zero I would! I came here about 5 or 6 years ago with concerns about my skin. I told him my issues and about how long it's been goin on. The doctor's response to me was " I don't know what it could be" he then proceeded to give me a list of dry skin lotions that I could buy OTC. I left there feeling distaste for him and his practice. Fast forward to today, I went in with the exact same issues the only difference is that I'm almost 8 months pregnant. Before the doctor came in the nurse asked my issues and concerns, I didn't feel as if she was listening to me and she walked out as I was still talking. I said to myself "maybe I should wait to tell the Dr that part" a few minutes the Dr came into the room. I told him about the issues that I was having and about how long it's been going on. He quickly stated that it looked a certain skin condition (not one that's common in the black race) and that since I'm pregnant he can't treat me but he can write me some prescriptions that will probably help. I began speaking to him again and he walked out of the room in the middle of my talking. My 11 year old was there with me and when he walked she was in total shock that he walked out. My daughter then said to me "mom I can't believe he walked out on you while you were still talking" I said to her " we're leaving" as we proceeded to leave the Dr and the assistant we're right there outside of the door talking/whispering. I walked past them with no words at all. The nurse said something as we were walking out and I simply stated "we're leaving" as we were walking to through the parking lot she ran out of the building and waving a prescription and shouted "ma'am you don't want your prescriptions" I stated " no thank you". This so called doctor is super unprofessional and VERY rude. I felt that way 5+ years ago and I feel the same today. If I was an old white woman maybe he would've treated me differently. My skin is extremely sensitive and is a matter that I needed to be handled professionally. I have soooo much to say about my visits but I'm just going to leave it at that. It's sad that this is all that the city of Americus has to offer. The doctor who seen me on both visits was not the guy in the photo, he is a bald black guy. I didn't get his name.
Caring providers and staff...both my children are treated here..Hallie Brigmond and Deleice Carter are awesome. I highly recommend GA Dermatology

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
