Such a horrible experience here. Staff was rude and very unprofessional! The Dr. And nurse I saw had no resemblance of people who cared the least about me and their attitudes and demeanor clearly showed that. I left after only a few visits. Now many months later I am still appealing insurance claims to their office. Claims that I have appealed before. There are better options in Athens if you have kidney disease. I wish you the best of luck. However this place can take a long walk off a short pier.

Dr Abid Bashir of North Georgia Nephrology has being my kidney Doctor since September 2015. He is very knowledgeable and excellent to be with. He works with patients always makes me his priority And always on top of issues. He has nurtured, managed my health issues to the level of recommending me for kidney transplant. He is still my post transplant doctor because there is no reason to move else where The clinical staff. Nurses and junior doctors are very sweet to work with. I will recommend anyone and all to look out for Dr Abid Bashir and the North Georgia Nephrology for all your renal issues if you want the best of treaments. Today I am free and sound. Thank you Doctor, staff and officers of North Georgia Nephrology for excellent work and care you always provide.

The doctor is constantly late. He has poor bedside manner. His staff turn over is constant no one stays more than a month. Their reasoning always turns out to be poor work environment, and misrepresentation of job description

I’ve been with Dr Bashir now almost 10 years. There is no other doctor that is a comprehensive and complete as him. It’s always a pleasure for him to care for you. I would recommend any dialysis patient to try him out.

I am forever grateful to Dr. Bashir and his wonderful staff. I had been having weeks of critical spikes in my blood pressure and Dr. Bashir agreed to see me even though his schedule was maxed out. His first instinct of my problem was right on and since then his treatment has stopped the spikes completely. I am feeling so much better and am so appreciative. Thank you, Dr. Bashir. I highly recommend this stellar physician.

Entering into a new world of kidney disease can be daunting and scary. Two things that have helped me is to educate myself in everything about the kidneys and finding that exceptional Doctor. For me, it was and is Dr. Abid Bashir. He is extremely intelligent, thorough, and takes time and care with his patients. I highly recommend Dr. Bashir and feel very fortunate to have him as my nephrologist.
