As always answered all my questions, concerns and needs!
Everyone was nice and polite. In and out I loved it.
Dr. Taylor was the most thorough PCP I have even seen. Spent almost 45 min with me on my first visit. Called me the next day personally, discussed my bloodwork and offered options regarding lifestyle choices vs possible medications to deal with elevated cholesterol levels. Was very impressed with his demeanor and the completeness of his evaluation.
This was my first visit, and I was pleased to have met him and to have made this choice. Dr.Taylor listened to what I had to say, and gave answers that were pertinent and useful. He is well read and has up to date information. He has a friendly manner, makes small talk to put you at ease, and genuinely cared about my well being. His office staff is efficient, answers questions, and returns test results promptly. His nurse is efficient, easy to get along with -and in my case, gave a vaccination well and quickly. He is new to this practice, and I feel is a welcome addition. Although this is based upon a single visit, I give him a very positive recommendation based upon this.
I've never had a doctor who was as thorough and empathetic as Dr. Taylor. He asks insightful questions, takes time to listen, and then follows through on the results. More than once he has gone the extra mile to make sure I understood my choices, that I had the right prescription, and to clarify the treatment options, even calling me personally at times. Because of his diagnostic curiosity and rigor, he was able to identify a rare allergy that has gone undiagnosed for years. If there is any doctor in the tri-state area who would have had the guts and the know-how to take a chance on solving my disease, I don't know who it would be. Can't say enough good things.
We are extremely disappointed with Dr. Taylor. My daughter was diagnosed with ADHD 3 years ago. We recently moved to Athens and chose Dr. Taylor as her primary care physician. When it was time to re-fill her prescription, he refused and demanded that she undergo additional testing that we would have to pay for. We explained that she had a valid diagnosis and that she would be unable to complete the testing any time soon due to living out of State temporarily. He refused to listen and said that it was his decision whether to renew her prescription and that perhaps we should send her to a psychiatrist. His high-handed, arrogant attitude was disappointing and is causing our daughter significant difficulties. We will be seeking another doctor as soon as possible.

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
