Botched my surgery and gave me ever lasting issues because of it.

Dr. Hurteau is a caring doctor with extensive knowledge in the field of breast reconstruction. He is both experienced and caring, as is his staff. I highly recommend them.

I was very happy to meet Dr. Hurteau. He and his staff are caring and concerned about the individual needs of their patients. Dr. Hurteau is an experienced physician with an impressive background. I highly recommend him.

I am a 19 yr post op Bariatric Surgery patient. In 2008 Dr. Hurteau did my Tummy Tuck & to this day my stomach still looks amazing & in the process of going back to him for one thing. Dr. Hueteau is AMAZING & won't let no one else do plastic surgery work on me but him. I'm 47 & he's been doing this since I've been born🤗.

He is very nice and takes the time to explain what he is going to do.i had breast cancer and was scared i was going to have a double masytomie and he gave me opions on what to do to make me feel better about myself.Thank you so very much Dr.Hurtue and his nurse leanne.

I had a doctors visit to the office back In January, I was referred told so many good things about the office and surgeon. I was scheduled to come in on a date that the MD wasn’t there they had no record of the appointment so they just took pictures and I came the next day to meet the MD, Great visit felt good about everything until a MONTH went by no update on the pre cert, I called several times was told it was still being processed. I was never contacted with updates I had to place the calls final call with the nurse she told me I’d been DENIED says the reason was (NON JUSTIFIABLE) I received the letter in the mail a few days ago and it says something totally different! Says diet and weight loss maintenance wasn’t documented or discussed during visit and it was discussed, ID been on a plan with my primary doctor for a year, the dates on the pre cert were March-June why when I came in the office JANUARY! The ball was dropped and my case was mishandled documentation wasn’t submitted correctly after me asking her about it I take it as a sign to GO ELSEWHERE.

I had cosmetic surgery with Dr. Hurteau in January 2020. My results are very disappointing. The sutures were not where I was told they would be and are quite visible. As a result I am reminded everyday when I look in the mirror. As time has gone by, healing and swelling reduced, is when it became apparent the results were not good. I have since gone for second and third opinions and have learned a lot. Do your homework before choosing a Plastic Surgeon for a cosmetic procedure. I should have known better when there were no before pictures taken prior to the procedure and no after pictures. I do have before and after pictures, please feel free to contact me.

Best Plastic Surgeon ever!!!! He has a great staff as well. His nurse is outstanding. If you are in the market for a tummy tuck, Dr. Hurteau is the BEST in the Athens and surrounding counties.
