Dr. Dorris is an amazing doctor. He listens to what is wrong and does a wonderful job at figuring out a plan. I would highly recommend Dr. Dorris. He has replaced both of my shoulders and I have full range of motion in both with no pain.

I am a new patient. Dr . Dorris listened carefully to my symptoms although my problem may not due to the bone tissue. He is extremely knowledgeable. Based on my symptoms, health history, and X-ray results, he diagnosed immediately my leg pain as a tendon issue and provided the appropriate medications to control the active rheumatoid inflammation. I am very satisfied with this visit. Thank you very much.

The doctor forgot to fill my prescription and the office closed for the weekend and none would write another so I have been in pain all weekend

No waiting! Great customer service, Larry Shuman PA and Dr. Doris is the best at what he does. I have tattoos and he somehow managed to put it back like it was. No one would know I had surgery.

Dr. Doris met with me, diagnosed the issue immediately and provided needed information to make a choice of to operate or not. Having a need to have recovery to maneuverability in a relatively short time frame, Dr. Dorris and AOC got my shoulder replacement surgery scheduled and completed within my neededtime frame. The surgery went extremely well with a fairly quick healing time. The last time I met with Dr. Doris as a follow-up about 2 months after surgery, X- rays showed success and that everything is working as it should. I'm very impressed with the services rendered and will soon be pain-free in my shoulder that was replaced for the first time in about 7 years. I'd highly recommend Dr. Doris and AOC should someone else need professional orthopedic advice and help!

Dr. Dorris did my first hip replacement, in 2019. It was a seamless experience, with excellent results. Now it’s late 2021, and I’m facing my other hip replacement. I now live 2 1/2 hours from Athens, but will have him do it for me, with no other thought of finding another surgeon. 100% confidence. 100% success. PS… I’m a retired RN, so, I know a great surgeon when I see one. Grateful

The option to do all the paperwork online ahead of time is wonderful. I was called in from the waiting room before I had time to sit down. The service I received from the nurses, technicians and doctor was prompt, courteous and professional. I recommend Dr Dorris and Athens Orthopedics without reservation!
