I had lower back surgery with Dr. Price. I was extremely nervous about the surgery, Dr. Price was very reassuring and 100% positive about my procedure. His bedside manner is exceptional and put me at ease. I just had my yearly check-up and everything looks great and I feel amazing. Dr. Price and his staff are very caring and I highly recommend his service, if are having back pain or issues. Dr. Price is your go to guy!

Dr Price and his staff are wonderful! I had neck surgery, a discectomy in 3 discs and fusion. I now have full range of motion and the pain and tingling in my arms and hands is gone. One year out and my healing results are textbook perfect as he said. I couldn’t be happier. Thank you!!?? Arthritis is debilitating but you don’t have to suffer forever!

Dr. Price is an excellent orthopedic surgeon who provides and explains in detail a diagnosis and treatment plan with good follow up after surgery. I recommend his services.

I highly recommend Dr. Price. I suffered back pain for several years. I was terrified at the thought of back surgery. When the pain became unbearable I saw Dr. Price. He was very thorough and kind on explaining everything he would need to do. I fully understood all that would happen and the recovery time. The surgery was a great success. No more pain! The staff at Athens Orthopedics do a very comprehensive and patient focused service. Most recently I saw Dr Price for an epidural to help with back pain caused by lumbar issues. Dr Price and staff explained the procedure each step of the way, always checking in to be sure I understood and was ok. I have used this group many times and the result is always the same....a satisfied customer.

Dr. Price described the need for surgery clearly. He walked me through the procedure in language I could understand. He never pressured me and I appreciated the honesty in his comments about the recovery time. Each scheduled appointment afterwards included an x-ray and I was given plenty time to ask questions about my progress and what I needed to do for recovery. The surgery was a huge success for me . I went to see Dr. Julian P. Price at Athens Orthopedic after several months of severe nerve pain. The pain was from 2 compressed nerves in the cervical region of my neck. It radiated from my neck to the fingers on my hand. Dr. Price diagnosed the problem and suggested surgery to correct this severe issue. A few weeks later the procedure was performed and I have never felt better. The nerve pain was immediately gone and the recovery was only for a few short weeks. Everything went exactly as he planned from the surgery to recovery. I recommend Dr. Price to anyone who is suffering from nerve pain as I was. He is an amazing surgeon and an even better person. He cares and will take great care of you!

I have been seeing Dr. Price for a couple of years now related to lumbar issues. I find him to be an excellent doctor. He has helped my pain issues without surgery up to this point using epidural injections a couple of times a year. He is an excellent communicator letting you know everything he’s doing and asking for feedback as he goes. I would give him five stars and recommend him to friends and family.

I went to Dr. Price at age 66, I had a pinched nerve, and 2 deteriorated disc. The pain was unbearable. He was patient, knowledgeable, and gave me options. I most liked that he wasn't "pushing the knife". I chose to try injections, but I needed more relief. In Aug. 2020, Dr. Price performed a skilled, successful surgery. No issue with the incision site, it healed beautifully. Pain, tingling gone. Only 4 months, no pain meds, just a 20 min. ice pack after therapy. Thank you, Dr. Price.
