List of Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center's Reviews
It is ridiculous that they will NOT allow visitors to swap out visitation. If you live hours a day and then are not even allowed to visit the person is horrible. It is the most ridiculous rule. I have been helping with him for months and to not be allowed to even go see him. I am sick of the healthcare system. systemdictabeingsuchdictatorfreaking
From the check in desk to every doctor and nurse I saw, my experience at Piedmont Regional was exceptional. They all treated me with kindness and explained everything clearly and with compassion.
I broke my arm pretty badly this Saturday. Literally everyone who treated me was excellent. I was in the Emergency Department 11/6/21. Dr. Green was the emergency physician on floor. Thank all of you for your compassion.
I know the healthcare field is strained and some are truly doing the best they can, but what I've witnessed today in the ER department is beyond me. My dad was brought in on an ambulance on 11/9. He has been in an ER room since 1:30 pm. It's now 1:36 am and we're still in the same position as we were when he got here. No nurse, doctor or any staff has provided any information or asked does he need anything. I called to the hospital 5 times and still waiting for someone to call me back with an update on my dad. After finally speaking with someone not because they called I got up and made my way back to the hospital. I have had to walk out of his room on multiple occasions to ask can he get something to eat or can someone update me on his condition or have they administered his meds. I'm trying my best to keep my composure, but the bedside manner is in the horrible. Dr. Chestnut, I'm still waiting on you to provide feedback on my father.
Hello my people I went into the hospital because I was having chest pain like I have a heart condition by law that the government wrote State funded hospital's can't turn you away well they took my blood many times to check enzymes and still today I have chest pain Oct 7,21 they released me with no surgery and is sending a bill now I was supposed to have surgery at Eastside medical center now a Piedmont hospital no surgery just a bill for 40,000 that's called stealing money without giving service .
It is a big difference in the area your being seen on the mother and baby floor every single nurse and doctor was amazing 👏I do mean amazing from morning to night shift they were quick to check us in and get us back they communicated greatly informing me of what's going on and made sure I was as comfortable as possible thanks to all of them
This hospital is horrible and very unprofessional i was sent home after telling them i could not breathe due to Dvt & Pe i was turned away with no scans of chest done 2 weeks later i end back in from collapsing in my living room turns out major blood clots in both lungs and in my legs i was kept for three days reminding u i was dehydrated and not given fluids until day 2 going on 3 this is half of my story only to be sent home clots still in my lungs barley able to breathe & light headed with a kidney not functioning correctly cause i laid dehydration for 2days i must & will contact a lawyer again its a lot more to this story
Wow, what an awesome experience, the staff, Doctors and Nurses here are amazing , my wife had a C section for our daughter and we were treated amazing the entire time, would highly recommend this hospital to anyone for birthing.
Slowest acting folk I have ever seen.. when they say you next in line for service be prepared to wait 2 hours. I star is too generous

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
