I was calling to find a place to help with an open wound my elderly mother has treated somewhere else. It was great getting a person on phone, and she was willing to talk with me to help answer some questions and eased some worry we had. I’d highly recommend this place just based off this type of care and customer service.
I had been receiving wound care services at Wellstar before coming here. I’m glad I made the switch. I live much further away, but the level of care is well worth the drive. The nurses and doctors take patient care to another level.
My mom had a lingering wound that Dr. Gartent and her assistant Laura tended to and we saw amazing results. Their nurses were extremely attentive as were the dr and staff. The facility was clean and I would definitely refer this center to anyone who needs this type of care.
AMAZING I can't say enough nice things about the staff! Judith, Vicki, Lydia and all the ladies are so kind so professional so informative. I'm 25 and this was my first real health scare that was serious and all of the team members made me so comfortable. I felt as if my mom and aunts were taking care of me! they truly care here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dear Jesus Christ,Thank you for WOUND CARE WORLDWIDE.Thank you for Dr. Miller and hisAWESOME WOUND CARE STAFF AT PIEDMONT HOSPITAL.My son Emmanuel was Blessed to be cared for by a great team of angels.Thank You Lord God.Amen
It's downright shameful that a 99 yrs old patient w a Black Golfball size fluid filled cyst/bruise on back of leg gets the runaround about getting seen. Advice was take her to Urgent care, and they will make Appt then. Whaaaat?A 99 yrs old, whose feeble, has to get in and out of a car 2x...What happened to healing patients, compassion? It's all about 1 facility has to get paid, start a paper trail, so the other facility can get $$$$ too. This is ridiculous. There is a solution.....
I had my first visit to this facility this morning. While trying to find the Davis bldg inside the hospital was a little challenging, the search was well worth it. The wait area, bathroom and exam rooms were very clean and orderly. However, the friendliness, professionalism and competency of the staff made my morning a five star experience. I have been experiencing significant pain due to an abdominal wound that had been surgically opened and later closed. My incision is still not fully closed 4 weeks post op. Professional medical help for my daily pain and open wound was elusive as neither my surgeon nor a recent visit to a hospital's ER provided remedy or relief.I arrived at the Wound Center this morning bent over in pain and despondent about my medical condition and the negative impact it has had on my family and me. Dr. Armour and nurse Marion Waugh treated both my body and my spirit. I left their center this morning walking in an upright position, with no pain at all ( no pain meds were used).I had information and supplies to treat my wound at home and I have total confidence that I will make a complete recovery and be made whole again. The front desk reception was also a gem but I don't recall her name.I am so very grateful to have experienced such caring healthcare professionals who know their professional well, enjoy the work they do and help patients get their lives back. As much as I hate traveling into downtown Atlanta, I look forward to my next appointment in 2 weeks.
I was a patient at the wound care center making great progress with foot wounds. Being on a limited income I applied for patient assistance. This person,Teri Biven PT, DPT, CWS, FACCWS Director | Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine ; cannot locate that form. I was dismissed from wound care and was told they do NOT accept Blue Cross Insurance. Being a supposed NON profit hospital, I was shocked to be 'Dismissed'. Now, several months later the wounds are MUCH WORSE. I cannot afford medical care for treatment. Home wound care can do so much...I am Past disgusted with Piedmont Healthcare and Teri Biven. This thing does not care about patients welfare; Its all about the Almighty CO PAY... AVOID THIS PLACE!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
