Overpriced, inefficient, incompetent, and dirty. Go to the clinic in the Kroger across the street. The process.of seeing someone here seems designed to drive you to the owning company's ER.

I was surprised at how quickly and efficiently the staff at Piedmont was. I was called back to an exam room right at my appointment time, and I had only made the appointment the night before. I was in and out in thirty minutes. Everyone was nice and answered all of my questions, and I always have a lot of questions 🤣 awesome staff

I received excellent care and attention from every person I encountered after I entered the back. I was a complicated medical patient. You will be our urgent care location of choice.

Staff were amazing! The receptionists & the nurses were very sweet to me. I’ve come here on and off since I was a kid. I’ve seen several Drs and have been treated well every time. Not sure if he still works there or not, but Dr. Mackey was definitely my favorite! Dr.Davis was also amazing- went above and beyond. Made an appointment online and was seen in my time slot. Dr Brian Hughes- not so much. He is the whole reason why I’m even writing a review. Wish I could write one on clinic and one for him. I came in specifically for sore throat, ears, face, headache, and cough. I told the nurse all of this. He walked into the room, didn’t say anything except how far in pregnancy are you and you should start seeing your OB, but I know they aren’t good about getting you in for sick visits. He listened to only the bottom portion of my lungs and said he was going to send me home with antibiotics. I smiled and said ok. Then to my surprise he stepped out. A nurse came in to discharge me. I asked if he was not going to even look in my ears. She of course looked confused-stepped back out to ask him to come look at my ears. Came back in and was very embarrassed. Told me he said he didn’t have time…. Also, I heard him shouting across the room that I didn’t say anything about my ears hurting. Of course not to him I didn’t- I didn’t say anything about any of my symptoms. He didn’t ask! That was embarrassing to say the least. He decided to take 30 seconds to look in my ears on my way out. Of course I thanked him for that. But to shout across the treatment room and put blame on the patient, to not have 30 sec to look in someone’s ears, to not do anything at all but listen to the bottom portion of someone’s lungs is ridiculous. I work at a veterinary hospital. The animals who come in for just their shots with nothing else wrong with them get better exams than what I did. How did he even write me up? “Patient had red hair. Spoke English. 9 weeks pregnant. Not sure what she came in for but I gave her antibiotics. The nurse tested her for strep, flu, and covid so she must have a stuffy nose.” What if I don’t need antibiotics? He is contributing to antibiotic resistance. I always test negative for strep until I’m EXTREMELY sick- probably a week after symptoms start. What if I have strep. Looking in the back of my throat and seeing white bumps may have raised his suspicions. What If something strange was going on? What if I had a tumor starting to form? I realize that some of these things are rare and the rest don’t actually matter as much because my antibiotics will take care of me. But in a different person’s case maybe doing a simple exam could have been the difference. And my employer pays full cost of virtual Dr visits. I could have just done that. We examined the inside of a dogs mouth who was perfectly healthy- no issues and only middle aged. We found a tiny tumor the owners decided to have removed. It was a melanoma. We had to remove the upper half of his face AND he recieved some chemotherapy. He still has to get met-checks every 6 months.That dog wouldn’t be with us today had it not come in when it did and had we not done a full exam on it. I’ll stop going on and on because I feel my point here is obvious. I didn’t get what I came for. Dr. Hughes was inappropriate and embarrassing yelling across the treatment room the way he did. He didn’t get a history from me and clearly didn’t listen to the nurse’s history past the fact that I’m pregnant. He didn’t want to see me. He didn’t want to treat me. He didn’t want to do anything except see the 2-4 more patients that were there. I’d recommend to him for his own good to be a virtual Dr so his license is better protected. I would also recommend that Piedmont does something with him to prevent a lawsuit against themselves.

The place is very dirty. The staff is nice and helpful. The Dr didn't want to get too close because we were contagious, that didn't make me feel too good. The filth though! Windows need cleaning. The floors are disgusting and the chair equipment needs cleaning and fixing. Worn and torn leather The stool to pull out to stand up on was peeling off and the ledge of it was covered in dust and hair. Took the staff 15min after the Dr left to get me discharge information.
