I tore my ACL in the Fall of 2014 and began my rehab with Athens Therapy South in November 2014 after surgery. I had a wonderful experience and I cannot recommend Therapy South enough. Dr. Joiner is very knowledgable about the rehab process and guided my knee rehabilitation perfectly. As of right now I'm about 6 months out from my surgery and my knee feels great!

I began physical therapy a few days after having a total knee replacement. I can only give an excellent review as everyone was professional, friendly and knowledgable. The facility is spotless, masks were worn by everyone, and equipment was cleaned after each use. I will definitely return should I need PT again.

Dr. Bret Joiner and staff are amazing! I felt very welcomed from the start. Dr. Joiner knows each patient's name and speaks to each patient in passing asking how they are doing even if he isn't even treating that patient.I highly recommend them for anyone needing any type of physical therapy! It is an easy process to set up an appointment if you need something done as soon as possible. Definitely go see them, you won't regret it!

I am so glad that my insurance covered Therapy South. This was a great experience. From the moment I was greeted when I walked in, to the time I spent with the therapist and assistants, I was extremely pleased. Everyone was kind, friendly, informative and they fixed my very painful foot ! I was hurting so badly when I got there, but now I feel great. It is easy to get appointments, a real person answers the phone with a pleasant personality. I wish I could give Therapy South Athens more than 5 stars! Thank you everyone!!!

Amazing results! Bret Joiner explains what he's assessing and why, explains his findings and the treatment. He acknowledges what the research shows and what it doesn't show. He gives adequate work to accomplish between sessions to support the in-session work. He listens, remembers, and incorporates that information into his understanding of the issues and treatment. He's attentive, consistent, relaxed, and encouraging. He has a broad knowledge of the issues. I had immediate, consistent improvement!

Friendly and knowledgeable, Dr. Joiner and his staff do a wonderful job. Concerned that ignoring the moderate pain in my rotator cuff could result in permanent damage, I opted to try physical therapy. After 8 sessions my mobility was back and the pain had become an occasional discomfort with respect to a couple of shoulder/arm movements. The home exercises will get me the rest of the way there!

Excellent results. Mr Brett Joiner is an excellent therapist. After seven session of treatment, I was able to gain the mobility on my neck without pain. Thank you Mr. Brett and staff for being a motivating factor toward my recovery.

I saw two therapist Phillip and Bret,Both were professional and personable with pleasant personalities. All procedures and exercises were thoroughly explained to me.I was in severe pain when I first visited and was unable to rotate move my neck right or left.However, after several weeks of therapy l completed it with no sign of pain or discomfort.

Dr. Joiner does a remarkable job giving counsel, therapy and understanding the needs of each patient. His protocol, demeanor and expertise are so helpful when recovering and getting back to full health and range of motion! Super thankful.
