Went in for an appointment today that I waited weeks for. Gave my insurance information at the time I made appointment. Got to the office and I’m informed that they don’t take my insurance and that the visit is $175. I asked if I could pay $75 and be billed the rest since I was only supposed to pay $30 I wasn’t informed ahead of time and I’d taken off work they answered no. When the doctor’s office makes a mistake they should do everything to insure they make it right. I try to patronize black businesses at all times but this is ridiculous.
I am a patient who pays out of pocket and this was my first dermatology experience. have been seeing Dr. Weaver for a little while now. I have seen no progress in my treatment and her recommendations and treatment plans are very minimal. Almost like they do the most they can to make you have to return and slow down your recovery process. Dr is also very biased I have never felt comfortable explaining myself to her as she is very sarcastic and dismissive. I have since been seeing Dr. Buchi Avail dermatology. As a patient who pays out of pocket I was not quite sure if the service I was getting from ACD was typical or not however switching dermatologists has shown be a HUGE difference starting from atmosphere to treatment services. Please go elsewhere where you and your money is valued.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
