Staff took great care of me and my fear of needles!
9:40 appointment was told I would be in and out within 45-60 mins max, have been waiting to get called back for an hour . Now I am forced to make more arrangements with my job before returning to work today
I was VERY nervous and had bad anxiety to get epidural neck injections due to having three herniated disc in my neck from a car accident And other health reasons. AICA with all the staff and treatment I had to under go they made the process simple and easy. Before getting my injections they asked me multiple times if I wanted to be sedated and I said yes, at first I would want to be put asleep, but the doctor assured me and made me feel a lot more comfortable to just be sedated and I went with that. Dr. Aqua and his staff was the best he was extremely mindful, caring ,very kind And very knowledgeable. I felt extremely comfortable And no discomfort. After I got the injection They sat me down in a chair and take your vitals to be sure everything is great and you’re in and out within 30 minutes or so. I highly suggest anyone who is very nervous about getting injections. Get The sedation and go with Dr. Aqua or any of their Team members. Dr.Aqua you are the man with the plan!! -much love and Thank you!
After reading a couple of these reviews, I became very skeptical and apprehensive about visiting this place. But all of that anxious energy was very useful to keep warm in the waiting room. The waiting room was very cold so bring a jacket or blanket. The total time spent there, including recovery time, was about 1.5 hours. It was pretty busy that morning. Although it was very busy, the staff was still very helpful, patient, and persistent with verification before any procedure. The Doctor was very friendly and experienced. He explained everything in detail, before and during my procedure, Cervical Epidural Injection. Thanks 😊
Rude
Bobette has been so patient helping me understand what has been recommended on my treatment plan, the cost of treatment, and how the payment process works. She also introduced me to the medical team at Atlas in advance so I could ask questions about the procedure(s). She was very reassuring during a time when making decisions has been very difficult.
Dr. Acquah was very rude to me during and after my surgery. I needed a sedative for anxiety and i told him prior he didn’t even give the sedative time to kick in before starting the procedure he wasn’t gentle at all and he told me to tell him when i was in pain and i groaned and it was like he got annoyed because i couldn’t use my words even though my chin was to my chest then afterwards i was rushed off the table by him saying “we’re done” in almost a yell. I could barely move so i was moving slow, i ended up crying in recovery. It’s a shame his true colors come out in the time he needs to be the gentle man he was when the surgery started. If i ever have to go back i would refuse his services. I am not a ragdoll im human and he needs to learn how to be empathetic.
This place is meh not all that. They don’t help with anything AT ALL. Im having surgery this morning and they don’t even know if im getting crutches or a knee brace…. Then nobody called me with a surgery date and time because they automatically assumed that I knew it which is actually ridiculous! Im never coming here again im only here because I need the surgery.
Dr. Hollifield is so amazing. He made me feel so comfortable. I was still scared lol but he did make relax.
Scheduling issues are a problem

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
