List of Booker H Dalton's Reviews
I had my EGD with Dr. Dalton. He was fabulous and the surgery was successful. He really takes time to listen and understand your issues.
I could tell from the questions he asked and the reflective look on his face as he pondered through the likely answers that he really has his finger on the pulse of his specialty. I suspect there is no one better in Georgia. He was incredibly informative and understanding.
Dr Dalton performed my Endoscopy recently. Everyone was great in the Endoscopy Center. Emily, Kayla, The anesthesiologist, Shea, and of course Dr Dalton were all wonderful. Very professional.
Dr. Dalton and his staff are awesome! I have been Dr. Dalton's patient for over 10 years and could be more confident in the care I've been given.
Dr. Booker and his medical staff that performed my procedure on Tuesday June 7, 2022 @7 a.m. , I give you all 5-STARS!!. However, his office gets 1 STAR. I called Dr. Dalton's office on Tuesday afternoon June 7th and informed them that my prescription was not at Walgreens. I was told that Dr. Dalton sent my prescription to and old pharmacy, Walmart that was on file. I informed the lady that my insurance carrier no longer works with Walmart and asked if Dr. Dalton could send the prescription to Walgreens. The lady said, I can call and have Walmart transfer it. I informed her that last time I tried to have a prescription transferred, I was given a hard time so could she or Dr. Dalton send the prescription to Walgreens. She reluctantly said she would have it transferred to Walgreens. I tried calling and checking with Walgreens for 2 days and could get them to answer the phone. So on Friday, June 10th, I said surely my prescription should be there by now. So I went to Walgreens @ 12:30 pm on Friday June 10, 2022, to pickup prescription only to find out it wasn't there. I called Dr. Dalton's office and got the same woman that I had talked to on Tuesday, June 7th and I informed her that I had spoken with her on Tuesday about transferring my prescription to Walgreens, and that I'm here at the pharmacy and my prescription is not here. She told me that the system was down Tuesday and Wednesday. I said, "its Friday" and its still not here. She states that they wouldn't have known it wasn't there until I called. OMG! If you know your system was down Tuesday and Wednesday then, why not check to make sure all the prescriptions they sent out on the days supposedly the system was down. Supposedly she resent prescription to Walgreens but unfortunately I had already wasted my lunch hour trying to pickup a prescription that should have been there on June 7th. According to Walgreens, it normally takes an hour for the prescription to hit the system and then time to fill it. So 3 days after my procedure, I don't have the medication I'm suppose to be taking to heal because of POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Saw Dr. Dalton for routine colonoscopy. During the procedure he perforated my sigmoid colon and left me in pain for 3 hours before sending me to ER for evaluation. I then was rushed to surgery to have my sigmoid colon removed. Spent 18 days in the hospital
Smart and to the point. Great team work by staff.
All they do there is line up people for colonoscopies. My stomach hurts worse than my first visit, but he told me he is too busy for me. His only advice was Prilosec; I knew that $1000’s ago
Dr. Dalton tried every test under the sun to identify my gastro issue. With a couple of colonoscopies, blood tests, etc. he finally found some polyps and removed them. He takes his time with his patients, explains everything he sees and is thinking. He is kind and very thorough. My adult daughter went with my for one of my visits and even she commented on his quality of care and his good nature. Sadly, I have switched health plans but would still return to him and pay out of pocket.
If it were possible to leave 0 stars, I would. Dr. Dalton had no interest in attempting to identify or resolve the issue when it wasn't readily apparent. After failing to identify the cause (another doctor was later able to), I did not hear from Dr. Dalton's office again until he recommended a 'follow-up" procedure three years after the first procedure he recommended.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
