⭐ Five-Star Experience with Dr. J. Kuo I brought my daughter to see Dr. J. Kuo at the Children's Cardiology Center for Advanced Pediatrics for a clearance prior to her iliac vein stent procedure. Although her visit wasn’t cardiac-related, we were treated with genuine care and concern from start to finish. The front desk staff, two nurses, a PA, and of course Dr. Kuo himself—all were incredibly professional and kind. Dr. Kuo took the time to ensure everything was in order, and we never felt rushed or overlooked. I highly recommend Dr. Kuo for any pediatric cardiology needs. He and his team truly set the standard for compassionate care.

We were referred to CHOA by our pediatrician to address some concerns about reflux issues our newborn has been experiencing. Shortly after the referral, CHOA contacted me to schedule our appointment and made it an incredibly smooth process. Although they have multiple locations, the next appointment wasn't available until 3 weeks later - yikes! But that's how healthcare goes so we took what we could and the young lady I spoke to told me that they would call me if anything sooner opened up. Even though nothing opened up, I appreciated that consideration so much! When we arrived, I did not expect it to be so beautiful! It was so bright, open and colorful inside, truly pleasing to the eyes of adults and children alike. I was really blown away by it all. There's also a bunch of paid parking that's available so you're not scrambling to find somewhere to park when going into important appointments. (I wish it were free parking though!) There are several floors catering to the different specializations and wow, this is really an incredible place that tends to pediatric needs of all kinds. On our way out I even saw that there was a small cafeteria in the lobby, perfect for guardians and kids who may have had long appointments. (Or those just wanting a snack?) The team here is really wonderful, from the front desk to the doctors and nurses. From check-in to check-out, any questions or concerns that we had were addressed with such patience. Our appointment with Dr. Raj was incredibly smooth and he was really helpful. We had an issue filling a prescription for our son so I called and the ladies upfront worked to get me the answers I needed. It's never fun to go to the doctor's office, but it's nice to find one that makes the experience smoother. Will definitely continue making any necessary appointments at CHOA!
