Lane Smith - have to call him out for great, personal service!
Dr. David Ross is the Best Optometrist I have ever been to. My first appointment with Dr. Ross, I felt I had the best eye exam I’ve ever had. I have had Eye problems since I was a very young child. Dr. Ross listened to me and wrote everything on his computer, and talked to me the whole time. He was not in a hurry to end his exam and say good bye... He is so very patient and caring. He would give me suggestions and his opinion. He is very knowledgeable. He is asked by the University Of Georgia School Of Medicine to participate in Seminars and other educational Eye related teaching courses. I will never go to another Eye Doctor, Optometrist. I tell everyone about Dr. Ross. If Dr. Ross feels that you need Eye surgery, and you ask for a referral he will refer you to an Eye Group Office or an Eye Surgeon MD, however if you already have a Surgeon that you prefer, he will not deter you from going to your choice. When I would go to an MD Opthomologist, he would only check my eyes from what the assistant exam showed after that person did the initial exam. The Eye Doctor would of course check my eyes throughly, and also refers to the exam of the Optometrist. I am not saying that the Doctor Of Opthomologist is not a good Doctor... they are excellent! But Dr Ross dose a more comprehensive exam himself that the Opthomologist needs to know in order to diagnose What is needed. I will never stop going to my Eye Doctor, MD... and neither will I ever not go to my Optometrist, Dr. David Ross. With Thanks, Penny Krautter
I have been using Dr. Ross for several decades now. He was the only Optometrist in Atlanta I found that could diagnose a rare eye condition I have called "kerataconus." He is a "class act" a great doctor to deal with and simply the best I found. Don't hesitate is making him your first choice! Tyler Allen

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
