List of David Olansky Md's Reviews
Dr. Howell misdiagnosed me 100%!!! They have a compound for acne that did not work on my skin. In fact, it got MUCH worse. I've been calling on dermatologist for 5 years and was shocked! When I called to talk to a nurse she said "Acne takes a long time to heal." I had been on the topical treatment for 2 months. I decided to go back to Dermatology Associates of Atlanta and my acne cleared up in 2 weeks ...
Dr. Lee was amazing! She was knowledgable and assisted in removing a dark spot off my lip.
Olansky is hands down the best in what they do. Both of my sons have been patients and the level of service is unmatched. They take the time to understand the concern, and then come up with the best plan of action. My younger son had a procedure that Dr. Ilyas performed. He kept his nerves at bay and walked him through every step during the procedure and made sure he was comfortable. COVID hit around the time his sutures were to be removed, and the office seamlessly communicated and took care of everything in such a professional matter. I highly recommend them for any dermatological needs.
I was referred to Dr. Olansky after a 2 minute uninterested dermatologist. I am a physician and I felt Dr. Olansky approaches things with logic, reason, and a plan. He takes the time to discuss his thoughts and why each plan has its merits but states which he would choose. He allowed plenty of time for questions and a thorough total body evaluation. I have a Dermatologist in Michigan with the same credentials as Dr Olansky, his opinion was exactly the same. The 2 minute dermatologist wanted to do 22 Radiation treatments for $6000.00, both my friend and Dr. Olansky recommended Cautery/freeze and recheck in 6 months.. He was very aware of the cost basis of each choice, and I did not feel he was motivated by the payment but rather my outcome. I could go on but just know he is a great doctor and CARES...
Dr. David has been my doctor a long time . A great doctor.
Dr Olansky is an unusual doctor as he is a most caring thorough doctor. I am 78 years of age and have been to many a doctor in my time and Dr Olansky is truly what a doctor should be ie caring, thorough, efficient and so very pleasant. His demeanor is such that even his staff are so very personable and pleasant which I believe is because of his demeanor that they enjoy being employed with his practice!
Dr. David Olansky is a fantastic dermatologist. He has been caring for me for many years and his father before himI have had 3 Mohs procedures and he performed excellent work on them all.He is so caring ,compassionate and hard working. His PA Mary Beth is outstanding as well.He worked me in quickly when I was worried about a squamous.Marc Davis
It is my opinion that Dr. Olansky failed to diagnosis a recurring basil cell on my face despite annual check ups. I believe he thought tethered skin was a scar. He never measure the original scar to know it disappeared -- and never took follow up photos to monitor the skin. Now, after 17 surgeries, I have another recurrence and was treated at Sloan Kettering.I believe he knows he screwed up.
Despite regular preventive skin cancer exams, David Olansky did not diagnose a cancer recurrence from a MOHS procedure he performed, I've had 15 reconstructive surgeries on my face....and more to come. It is not his fault the cancer returned, but the signs were there for years that something might be wrong....and I believe he failed as a doctor when he did not recognize the cancer returned.I highly recommend seeking another dermatologist for your skin care.
One of my favorite specialist I've ever been to in my entire life there's no way you couldn't love this person messy hair or not I don't judge a Doctor by the way his hair looks I judge a man by his bedside manner's his sincere way of showing me that he really does care about my situation all of the other things and that is what's important to me and he is great at all of it

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
