This was our second visit to Dr. Patel over a span of 8 years. Each visit Dr. Patel took the time to sit and talk to my son about his pains. He was very thorough and attentive and has helped to resolve the problem with care. I would highly recommend Dr. Dinesh Patel.

I’m sure there are other doctors who are good but it’s impossible for any doctor to be better than Dr. Patel. He’s the best. No question. He’s taken care of three of my kids all with different issues and he has been thorough with all of them. He explains things well he genuinely cares about his patients and he’s about as honest and downtoEarth as they come. If all doctors were like him we’d have a utopian healthcare system.

We had 2 appointments with Dr. Patel. The first appointment was quick and he diagnosed my daughter with constipation from an xray on file from CHOA. He did not ask questions nor examine my daughter. During our second visit Dr. Patel did not listen to our concerns. He was rushed and judgmental. Within minutes he was more concerned about referring us back to the pediatrician and to a therapist than he was trying to help us in any way. I asked that he please help us and he ordered a CT scan. His nurse called to say that the CT scan showed nothing and to follow up with the pediatrician. Both the therapist and the pediatrician said that my daughter needed medical attention from a GI. The final straw was that I recently read the CT scan results on MyChart and saw that there were several identified concerns and a recommendation for an MRE. Ive wasted a month trying to find help for my daughter but am now glad to have another doctor who cares and listens
