List of Dr. Kamal Kabakibou's Reviews
Dr. K was extremely personable which made me more comfortable. He explained exactly what would happen during my procedure and kept me at ease the entire time! His staff was equally as attentive and pleasant. This team knows what they are doing and do it quite well!
I have various bulging discs and stenosis. I was in great pain for 6 weeks. Fortunately for me I was referred to KAMAL C. KABAKIBOU, MD. This was the first time after seeing a chiropractor, neurosurgeons, and neurologists from major practices in Atlanta that somebody actually listened to me and what was wrong with my body. I can't tell you how much I appreciate the kindness of everyone in the KABAKIBOU office and the empathy which I received and had not seen in any other practice dealing with my pain. Doctor KABAKIBOU is an extremely caring, intelligent and intuitive physician who asked the right questions and listens to the genesis of my injury. I have multiple bulging discs and had already seen doctors at Resurgens, Laureate and other neurological and orthopedic practices. None of them really cared about me or even acknowledged the fact that it took me 10 minutes to get on the examining table and 30 minutes to walk out the examining room door. Oh it's sciatica no worries! Doctor KABAKIBOU and his team listened to me and explained my MRI. And I really, for the first time, had the feeling that somebody cared that I was in pain and wanted to help me. Everyone other physical acted like or punching was a time card at job they didn't like. No one really gave a damn. In fact after going to Resurgens and being tossed out with nothing that helped me, one week later I had the now frequent 10 out 10 full charlie horse spasm in my lower back, glutes, hamstrings, calves and shins. At this point I had get my wife to take me to emergency room. That's how I got an MRI. 10 days had gone by since my visit to Resurgens before Resurgens even called me about scheduling an MRI. Doctor KABAKIBOU is kind and he reminds me of the doctors we all grew up with that really genuinely care about their patients. Lost breed. Doctor KABAKIBOU carefully reviewed my MRI and administered treatment to my back. I feel so much better knowing what was wrong with me, the long-term effects of my condition, treatment options and what I could expect going forward with my condition. It's only been 6 hours since my treatment and I would say that 75 to 80% of my symptoms are gone. I can't wait for tomorrow and I'll let you know how I feel. But right now I really feel better for the first time in 6 solid weeks of agony. I would recommend this practice wholeheartedly and thank you doctor KlABAKIBOU for finally resolving my pain problem and reassuring me of my future with this condition.Treatment plus 15 hours: I would say that I am 85-90% better. I slept the entire night, first time in 6 weeks. I have a small amount of tightness left in my right glute. No pain though. I will update tomorrow.
This Doctor is compassionate and cares about his patients. He is focused, direct and to the point, and yet we never felt rushed. One comment below says he was overheard yelling at two patients and they walked out slamming the door. Telling patients no is a big part of pain management. Wanting more than is warranted/safe. wanting it more than necessary or sometimes just abuse by people without pain. NO is an answer."First... do no harm."
Dr. Kabakibou was my physician for pain management for many years and I highly recommend him to anyone that needs pain care.
Dr. Kabakibou's staff is great, and in his defense, they've all been under attack unfairly by the government bureaucrats in their misguided ways. He probably feels pressured all the time these days. But he could learn some compassion from some of his own staff. Sometimes it seems like he's taking his frustration out on patients (and staff), when we're really all in the same boat.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
