Overall, I had great experiences with all of the providers and a successful surgery. I only have two complaints. First, I scheduled my appointment to have my surgery done at Emory Midtown due to the commute. All visits were at Midtown but I wasn't informed that I would have to go to St. Joe's for the surgery until after I had been in the program for two months as the surgeons are at that location. Second, they are horrible with paperwork completion. I sent my leave forms on 8/10/2022. I received an updated on the 13th stating they were complete but was sent to the surgeon to sign. I sent a message days later checking on them. I then received a message on the 19th stating the same thing, they were waiting to be signed. So I waited another week, with no contact from the office. I then called an left a message, sent another portal message with no response. Now, my surgery was scheduled for 9/1. So as the date gets closer with still not one response, I continued to call and leave messages and send messages through the patient portal up to the day before my surgery. Still nothing. I had to mention it the my surgeon as I was being prepped whom stated he remembered signing them which the staff was to fax. The mornining after my surgery, I received an email from my employer still requesting the forms from my surgeon's office. Therefore, I had to mention it again when my surgeon came to check on me. I'm not sure what he did but they finally sent it. Now I'm in the same boat, waiting for my return to work release ito be sent.

Incompetent, rude and unorganized staff. They are not upfront or honest when accepting appointments. I was told and sent correspondence quoting the initial visit cost of $150. Get to my initial appointment and now that fee is $450. Mind you they want this fee before seeing you to know if you’re even a candidate.
