While the wait can be long, the staff/xray tech/nurses here are some of the kindest, most empathetic people I’ve ever encountered! They made my anxiety about my appointment melt away by being so compassionate. A woman noticed I looked cold in the xray waiting room and even brought me a blanket. It made me feel so seen and cared for. I was so moved by their level of care.

I posted this review to the Emory in Tucker but since I do not see's , here's it again as well. Praise GOD for blessing my doctor with the PERFECT hands , eyes, and mind for my very meticulous operation. Dr Goh at Emory, Tucker Ga. I almost started crying when I saw him afterwards. I'm so elated!!! I've been walking without my walker every hour, did the steps plenty times in the rehab room, talked to some ppl at the desk for a sec, etc all within an hour after my minimally invasive surgery!!! I now really understand that everything is on GOD'S timing, especially, having Dr Goh as my doc. God is real ppl follow HIM as much as you can!! I will forever have Dr Goh in my prayers!

Emory review: I’ve been a patient with Emory since 2017, and my recent experience at Emory Ortho & Spine Sports (21 Ortho Lane, Brookhaven) reminded me exactly why I’ve stayed with them for so many years. From the moment I walked in, the front desk team (2nd Floor)— Dre-Jhonel, Jessica, and Deanna J at A&S and MSK — set the tone for the day. They were professional, courteous, and genuinely attentive, not only to me but to everyone waiting for surgery. The atmosphere in the waiting area was amazing — full of warmth and positivity. Everyone had a smile, and that same uplifting spirit carried right into the operating room with the nurses and surgical staff. The entire team worked seamlessly to make sure I felt comfortable and cared for throughout the process. Emory continues to set the standard for excellence in patient care. I’m truly grateful for their dedication and compassion. Highly recommend Emory Ortho & Spine Sports for anyone in need of world-class care!

Wait time is absolutely ridiculous. It’s been an hour and a half since our scheduled appointment time and still have not seen the doctor. There is no doctor or clinic worth this wait time. Especially for a routine follow up. Worse, the staff did not care that we have other appointments and said it might still be another hour. FIND SOMEONE ELSE!!!!!

I underwent a TKA surgery in February that was meant to be corrective but resulted in serious complications. My surgeon escalated the matter, and Patient Advocacy as well as leadership became involved. On 8/11/2025, I spent 1 hour and 15 minutes on a call with the leadership team, where I shared the injuries sustained. At their request, I delayed posting a review to give them time to reconcile the matter. However, they have gone well beyond the time graciously allowed, and my silence should not allow this to happen to others. In addition to multiple conversations, I have several written documentations, and recordings on file regarding these issues. Despite that, the assurances given on 8/11/2025; they have not been honored, and I have yet to see accountability or resolution. I trust they will honor their word and operate ethically and in the integrity they took an oath to uphold. This has been a painful and frustrating process, and I would not want another patient to experience the same lack of follow-through after medical errors. Respectfully in truth, Isna T. Summerlin

I have a 130 appointment with Dr Katz it is now 219 and I'M STILL WAITING!

If you’re looking for a Sports Neurologist, Dr. Morgan Heinzelmann-Weisbaum is incredible (5/5 stars for her). The facility itself is modern, spotless, and welcoming, which really matters to me in a clinical setting. As a young athletic woman, I struggled for years to find a doctor who would thoroughly evaluate me and truly listen to my concerns about neck & lower back pain. Most male doctors I’d seen over the past decade (outside of Emory) dismissed my symptoms without proper evaluation. Living with chronic pain became unbearable, so when I heard about Dr. Heinzelmann-Weisbaum, I was hopeful. She exceeded my expectations — not only by validating my pain as real, but also by respecting my preferences regarding treatment options and working with me to find alternatives I was comfortable with. That kind of care & partnership is rare. She was truly the missing piece in my healthcare puzzle, and I can’t recommend her highly enough. The only hiccup I’ve had is with the back office staff — communication with my insurance company about prior authorization could have been smoother. But as far as the patient–doctor experience goes, Dr. Heinzelmann-Weisbaum is hands down excellent.

Good locations and physicians. Poor support staff and customer services . Longer response time in scheduling. Longer waits to see doctors ( might be under staff or Over booking patients). Normal wait time is 30 min to an hr. from your appointment time

I had major spine surgery 1 in 2015 and another same surgery in 2021 Had Rods screw / hardware my entire spine . To get straightened back up. Sorry I forgot the Title of kind of surgery. Dr John Rhee did both . He's the Best with my Experience. I'll hopefully be getting him again for an SI Joint fusion in 2025. He's the Head Surgeon Overall . Last seen in 2021. Hope get in for this joint fusion this year and asap.

I was really nervous about the negative reviews I saw here, but I actually had an awesome experience here overall and was impressed by the facility / the process they have here from start to finish, it makes me wonder if this is a new process for this office based on the older reviews I read. Some details about my experience in case it’s helpful: TLDR: This place is absolutely on the right track with patient experience which is hard to find; once they improve the intake redundancy / accuracy / medical records issues, and ensure that staff are intentionally warm with patients, this place will be top notch. I’m glad I was able to establish care here so quickly (I booked online just a week after I found this location/doctor). INTAKE PROCESS: They have check in stations on the first floor where I was checked in and gave my copayment, then they give you specific directions to the elevator and a “lane” (an area of the waiting room) to wait in once you get to your doctor’s floor. I didn’t have to wait at all to be seen (a medical assistant saw me walking toward the lane and did my intake immediately). I filled out the intake questionnaire online before I got there, and the medical assistant did repeat a couple of questions with me that I’d already filled out which was a little frustrating after spending time getting the form done beforehand, but it didn’t take that long. She wasn’t super outwardly warm and engaging, but she was nice enough. Something that bothered me is that she was trying to ask me questions while doing a blood pressure reading (which you’re not supposed to do because speaking can impact the results), I’d expect medical assistants to know this, but again it wasn’t a huge deal. I always expect first appointments as a new patient to take a minute to get sorted with medical records and such. Then I was put directly into a room (very clean, spacious, and seems brand new by the way), I had to fill out one other form that I didn’t really know why I was filling out because it asked the same questions as the questionnaire, I wish they’d just printed out the answers to what I filled out online. However, I was seen by Dr Katz within 10 mins after that. VISIT WITH DOCTOR: I came in for an ongoing back injury that I got an MRI for at a different institution last year (which I didn’t have a great experience at). I had issues getting my MRI images from a previous out of state provider sent here electronically, but it turns out my previous provider spelled my name wrong and that’s why there was an issue (it was resolved right after I saw Dr Katz). Luckily I brought the images on my laptop to the appointment, and Dr Katz reviewed them with me in real time during the appointment. I didn’t feel rushed, and felt like I finally got a legit explanation of my back pain / of the images, and a clear path forward with multiple treatment options starting with the most conservative. Dr Katz might come off cold or stern to some, but my read on him is that he is just really straight forward and clearly knows what he’s talking about with confidence; he also listened to me and asked more questions than my previous provider did, I appreciated how thorough he was and he really warms up the more you talk! He also clearly read my previous medical reporting that I’d shared with his team before the appointment (which shouldn’t be rare, but it is!). CHECK OUT PROCESS: I was then able to immediately schedule my follow up, then walk downstairs to get sorted with their PT center after (which is just downstairs next to the check in area, and seems to be state of the art and have more up to date treatment options than my old PT did!). They said I’ll have to call in a couple days to get on the schedule because next month’s availability will be finalized then, so hopefully that doesn’t take too long. For the first time in a long time, I feel some hope about navigating my chronic back pain/injury long term, and I just hope that the PT experience is as good as my experience with the doctor was!
