Metastatic melanoma was a challenging diagnosis to receive. In 2017 I was on the front end of the lifesaving immunology drugs that changed the way cancer is treated. Dr David Lawson - a saint whose statue should be erected in front of the building - personally oversaw my treatment. I am grateful for his care. I am now on another journey at Winship with CLL. Same brilliant care - this time from Dr Koff. If you are walking this path I highly recommend you seek out Winship Cancer Institute at Emory as soon as possible.

Oh my goodness, my experience with Dr. Jolinta Lin and staff at Emory Winship from October 2022-December 2022(33 rounds) was an experience that will forever be etched in my heart. I feel grateful to have gone through this with this particular Dr. and I need for the world to know that if ya gotta go through it, it needs to be with them. Lauren is who my husband always goes to visit when he is needing his prostisis changes out. We travel almost 3 hours to use her…I promise you requesting lauren for your speech therapy needs is like a must!! She is the absolute best!!!!

Had to pick up medication sent from Emory Decatur. Gave my prescription and it was ready within 5 minutes. Pharmacist filled my prescription immediately. Tech was professional and courteous.

Hands down, Emory University and the Winship Cancer Institute have the best medical professionals in the country, from the physicians, nurses to the social workers, admin, clinical staff, valet team, Starbucks staff, security personnel, and even the billing department. Every person I’ve encountered provides care with respect, and genuine kindness. I was referred to Dr. Jade Jones in 2022 by MD Anderson, the number one cancer hospital in the country, and it was the best decision I’ve ever made. I’ve been her patient since 2022. Not only is she a brilliant oncologist, she is compassionate, kind, and stays fully engaged with the latest research for treating breast cancer. I am thriving because of her exceptional medical guidance. Since beginning my treatment in 2022, I’ve always been treated with the utmost care. I recently had my first chemotherapy infusion, and although I was hesitant for years to start chemo, Dr. Jones and her incredible team, Nurse Addy, Nurse Ebony, and Nurse Adriana, helped me overcome my fear. They even stayed late on a Friday to make sure I received my treatment. That kind of dedication and commitment to patients is rare and deeply appreciated. I also cannot forget to mention Natosha Manning-Rollins, DNP, who has been with me since the very beginning and has always made me feel empowered to keep moving forward. She is brilliant, professional, and always makes me smile. Additionally, Ms. Cynthia in scheduling and Stephanie L. Moody, LMSW, always make sure I have what I need, even at the last minute. They are all rare gems who have truly made my cancer journey lighter. The campus is beautiful, the environment is peaceful, and the people make you feel like family. I wholeheartedly recommend Emory University and the Winship Cancer Institute for anyone seeking exceptional, compassionate medical care. Emory truly is family. 🫶🏾🫂🙏🏾
