List of Endocrine Specialists Of Atlanta's Reviews
Got a call from my fiancée, crying on the phone due to the way she was treated just recently. Rude approach and unacceptable. If this is the way patients are treated then I recommend no one to go here further on. And the reason for this whole situation? Fiancée was late, that was it.Patients, go somewhere else in future.
Dr.Wotton is the best! I’d never had a dr to make me feel so secure about myself and my sugar levels. He totally worth the drive . I’m currently pregnant and look forward to seeing him after my baby is born for my diabetes! Stacy is awesome and I can’t forget the front office staff! To friendly I wanna take you guys hone with me! Girls your awesome!
Was referred by my gynecologist but couldn't even make an appointment without a written referral, transferred patient records, and lab results that clearly show an issue. "We'll call you if the doctor will see you." Not an insurance requirement, just their policy. Was told that they don't deal with any patients that need any assistance with weight loss. I was specifically looking for assistance because I have multiple symptoms of a thyroid issue but it's not coming across in lab results. I was told they probably wouldn't take it before talking to an actual medical professional. Useless.
They will ask you to take your mask off to take pictures for their insurance records.
Very rude and unprofessional staff, especially Kirsten and the check in area for the Covid19. She’s beyond rude, nasty attitude no sense of work ethic. Leaning on the front with hear pieces. The practice manager Darrell Brayten has no sense of management at all. I have a 2 issues one with scheduling and been treated very poorly and rude over the phone and now his front staff at Kristen (Covid19 area). He always makes excuses and never apologizes for his rude staff. He makes no since of making things better for the patient, always has excuse for his horrible staff management. Poor management.
I was referred to this office for in order to confirm a diagnosis for diabetes insipidus. I received a call from the receptionist and was informed that I could not make an appointment as they do not treat "the transgenders". I was very confused by this because the condition I was seeking treatment for has nothing to do with being transgender. They had received my referral which states my gender identity on it. There was no statement on it about the status of hormone treatment. I'm not currently taking hormones of any type and haven't for over 2 years. My current labs are consistent with that of a normal woman. This office didn't even ask me the status of hormone treatment before telling me that it wasn't their specialty and refused to schedule an appointment for me. I explicitly told them that I was seeking treatment for a condition unrelated to hormone treatment and that I hadn't taken hormones in over 2 years. They didn't ask me for that information, I volunteered it after they told me they didn't treat "the transgenders". Transgender people generally don't like to be referred to as "the transgenders" and is a transphobic way of talking about trans people. They told me that they don't specialize in treating transgender patients and failed to realize that not all trans people want hormones. They tried to tell me that it wasn't discrimination because they don't treat men that need testosterone. I DON'T NEED TESTOSTERONE. They stopped listening the second they saw transgender on my paperwork. They also treat women with PCOS ( a condition of too much testosterone in women). They know the effects of excessive testosterone on women, though my testosterone levels are normal for a woman my age. They seem unable to understand why I am upset and how this was discrimination. A doctor called me back to tell me that it wasn't explained to me properly why they denied me treatment. What he failed to hear is that they didn't even ask me about what hormone treatment I was or was not taking before they denied me service. He told me that it was in my paperwork that I was taking HRT (it wasn't) and that was why. This is absolutely discrimination and I don't expect that this will change from this facility as they didn't seem to want to hear that the way my case was handled was discrimination.
The front staff are very friendly. I see Dr Zora and just love his beside manners and knowledge as he cares for my diabetes. He includes me in the decision making process which makes me an active partner in my own healthcare. He is excellent at supporting me whether it's a "congratulations" or gently guiding me as in "do you think you might could consider this as an alternative?" I have gotten more of my family members into see him and they love his care as well. My A1C has gone from 11+ to 5.4 under his care.
Dr.Zora is absolutely fantastic. Took the time necessary to help me understand my condition and was very responsive to any questions or help I needed. So very glad I was referred to his office.
The worst doctors office I have had to deal with. In it all for them selves.
I recently received results from my thyroid ultrasound and have a 4cm mass. Completely understanding the state of our current medical crisis I'm beyond mindful. I've been a Medical Administrator for almost 19 years and empathy as well as professionalism is a must. Dr. Beasley was highly recommended so that is where my Primary Care office faxed my labs, ultrasound results and chest x-ray. I waited a week and then left a message to follow up. No return call. I called again this morning, 3/23/2020, (one week later) and was treated with such disrespect. I was told that they are extremely busy and that they have multiple people out sick and that I would have to leave another message??!! The delivery was rude to say the very least . I was also schooled on the current Covid-19 crisis. I am well aware of the state of our current pandemic. I understand busy and short handed but what I won't accept is a lack of empathy, professionalism, and simply being kind! Just simply being kind, sincere empathy, and the delivery of a person's words means EVERYTHING. My concern is that these hard working Physicians may not even be aware their losing patients (business) due to the unfriendly receptionist or office staff we call gate keepers. I was in tears because of how this individual spoke to me. So sad when you have one job!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
