Mya is the very unprofessional and cant comprehend simple questions such as is there a cancelation list to possibly get my senior father in. Instead she told me to go see another Dr and when i told her i doubt the Dr at the clinic woukd like that she hung up on me and woukd not answer again for hours. We will be driving there today to talk to your office mngr and finding a professional office for our dad. You suck!!!!

I have no idea what I did to the lady at the desk but when she asked for my insurance card I said I don't have it but I gave it to you the last time. She snapped "no you didn't". When I tried to show her the card on my phone she pointed to the email address then said "go sit down" when I said I was standing there to get the email address she started saying very loudly over and over again "You're too much, you're too much, you're too much" My appointment was at 7:30am at 8:05am a gentleman came in and said as a courtesy he is letting me know that the doctor called and said there is an accident on the road and it will be at least 9am before he can make it to the office. I won't go back.

How can I give a review of this place when they don't even bother to return your calls?? I called them THREE TIMES to request an appointment and they never even replied, and judging by the sheer number of negative reviews here I can't even believe that this operation is still in business. SEEK HELP ELSEWHERE.

I had a very concerning experience at Eye Consultants of Atlanta with Dr. Sapna Desai. I went in for a stye removal, which I have had done several times in the past by other doctors, and this was by far the worst experience. Instead of numbing my eyelid directly (as has always been done in the past), Dr. Desai injected numbing medication into the outside of my face multiple times, which was very uncomfortable and didn’t feel right. She then clamped my eyelid so many times it left me with a black eye for over a week, cut, and attempted to drain the stye, but afterward admitted she was not confident or satisfied with the results and said she would need to refer me to an eye specialist, which I thought she already was. Since the procedure, my eye has gotten worse, and despite reaching out to the office multiple times, no one has followed up or returned my calls. Because I’ve been out of town since the procedure, I haven’t been able to go in person, but the lack of response and follow-up for a patient in pain is unacceptable. This experience has left me frustrated, worried, and extremely disappointed in the level of care provided. Patients deserve competent treatment and communication, especially when a procedure doesn’t go as expected. Was diagnosed completely wrong and given medicated eye drops I was told to continue to take, despite the excruciating pain I KEPT calling about and visiting this place about. A whole month of this pain and no solution and honestly no compassion about it, until I went to Mass Eye and ear in Boston, Mass., where it was treated accordingly within just a few hours and was told the eye drops prescribed for me were giving me an allergic reaction on top of being misdiagnosed. I’m not saying this place is bad, however if you feel something is wrong or doesn’t make sense to you, ALWAYS get a 2nd opinion. So glad I did!!

Dr Desai was extremely rude -twice! I gave her and Eye Consultant a second chance. Took my daughter for treatment of a stye on her eyelid. The doctor took car of that issue and when asked to do an eye exam, we were told we need to return at a later date. Two weeks later we returned for the eye exam. After the exam we were told we need to make another appointment to return AGAIN to see another person to get fitted for contacts! If I had known that so have to pay three different copay for something that could have been done anywhere else in one visit… This is ridiculous! Then I started asking questions, Dr Desai tone changed from being understanding to being down right rude! Even my teenage daughter asked not to return. Find another doctor or establishment!

Fantastic experience with this location and practice. I was able to get an appointment within a day about an eye issue I was having. From the online check-in to arrival was smooth and easy. All the team members were helpful and friendly. I was seen promptly at my appointment time and received thorough exams from a technician (I wish I remembered her name) who was great, informative of what the tests were, what she was doing, etc. Dr. Desai conducted additional assessments and exams and was incredibly thorough, and she was able to explain everything in a manner that was not only understandable but thoughtful and actionable. I would highly recommend this practice and location. I plan on going back yearly.

UPDATED REVIEW: The business owner never contacted me despite trying to cover their tracks in the response to the comment. Don't go here. They'll bill an incorrect code to your Insurance, so you are on the hook even if you went in for a routine eye exam that's supposed to be fully covered. I ended up having to pay over $300 for something that should have been fully covered.

I had an eye issue that was a little scary. I was able to get in very quickly to see Dr. Desai. She was very kind and explained everything in a very straightforward manner that was easy to understand. I would recommend Dr. Desai without reservation to anyone seeking an ophthalmologist.

The technician (Machala) who ran my eye examination was very capable, friendly, and competent. Her excellence of service and treatment are great tributes to your practice.
