Georgia Eye Associates - Atlanta Office's Online Review Report Card

This place has gone downhill over the years. The staff are very apathetic. I have been a customer of Dr. Kahn's for over 20 years, but I guess it's time I find another optometrist. The staff makes the visit unberable. I went in for my glaucoma screening on 12/22/25. The receptionist said my co-pay was $60. I told her it was only $20. She told me I had to pay the $60 & after the insurance paid they would refund $40 if it was only $20. My appointment was for 11:30. When I arrived there was no one else in the waiting room for a doctor. At about 11:45 I asked the receptionist if she knew how much longer it would be since no one else was there. She said "soon." Well. they go to lunch at 12:00. I'm still sitting there, the receptionist leaves. I start pacing & looking into the back. The eye-glass guy asked me if he could help me, I told him my appointment was at 11:30 & it's now 12:00 trying to find out what is going on. He found somebody. Turns out they forgot about me. So, the insurance paid on 12/31/25. I called the office to get my refund on 1/12/26. 'They said they'd call me back. I've called 4 times, they always say the office manager will call me back. She/he has never called me back. At this point I am going to dispute the charge with my credit card & let them deal with it. This has gone beyond just bad customer service. It's taken a lot of time when it should be pretty cut & dry. I love Dr. Kahn but the staff is making seeing him not worth the trouble.

Friendly and knowledgable staff, clean office, no high pressure sales, and Dr. Kahn was thorough. I couldn't give a higher recommendation.

Dr. Kahn has been my ophthalmologist for many years. He has taken great care of my eyesight. His practice is effective and on time.

I was seen by Dr. Jeremy Chartash for a presumed eye infection. I told Dr. Chartash my eye had been bothering me for weeks and he was third doctor I'd seen without getting better. He quickly and presumptuously diagnosed me incorrectly (and in quite an insulting fashion). I begged him to take a sample of my eye so we could figure out what was going on, and he was extremely dismissive and rude. His "diagnosis" was absurd. I went to a REAL eye doctor MD, a corneal specialist a few days later. Turns out I had a parasite in my eye from swimming in Lake Hartwell. Chartash would have discovered this had he just swabbed by eyeball. Don't go here, save yourself the time. Go get your eyes checked by Dr. Christenberry. He treated me for 8 WEEKS (that's how serious the infection was). Chartash and the admin staff are rude, and billing sucks too.

I have been a patient for years. All their physicians are top notch and concerned with my eye health. I chose wisely more than 30 years ago when I first selected this practice.

The front desk and the person in the back who is responsible for the follow up appointments, etc. need an attitude check and better communication skills. Drs. often seem to be in a rush.

My family and I have been going here for the last few years and all the doctors and staff are very professional. Had my eye exam yesterday with Dr Kahn and was completely awesome. Very Professional and the same time made me laugh and I just knew Dr Kahn is a pro in his profession, thank you!

Very good experience with the eye exam here. & Very nice people work at this office also!

I had my annual eye exam done by Dr. Kahn. He was great, explained everything and was overall a wonderful doctor!
