What a complete lack of professionalism. I understand the doctor’s job is stressful but lacking humility and sensitivity towards an infants parents is insane. How they keep business or have anyone pay a bill blows my mind. I’m currently in search of another doctor for my son because the experience was so bad. How certain doctors keep a license is unknown to me. I certainly hope that others that attempt to use this practice go in with caution and hopefully they have better luck than me and my family.
It takes over an hour past your appointment time to be seen and even then the doctor doesn’t come into the room for another 1530 minutes. I have been called to reschedule every single one of my appointments which is absolutely ridiculous and in no way how to run a business. Jackie at the front desk is very kind and helpful along with the doctors. Anytime I’ve had to call GA Urology the receptionists on the other end do not seem to care at all nor listen to my concerns. My doctor was not concerned with my complications after surgery even after it’s been 7 months. I would recommend a different location or a different urology facility.
I have been a GU patient for 5 years. My doctor addresses all concerns explains things in language I understand
Dr. Harrison is the best Urologist a man can ever hope for in your care. What I most like about him hes not the kind of doctor that rushes you out the office. He take time to explain things in detail and offers the best options for your well being. I even had questions answered about health supplements I was taking on my own which he told me the effects of those supplements on my body. I really appreciated that. I made some adjustments to my care after his recommendations Great confidence I have in him relating to my care
One star because maybe the lady knows urology but we havent seen it Shes really rude we took our daughter twice and she never did any testing or labs to see why she cant feel anything and just urinates on herself. Just says drink water and pee often I could have got that from Google. But thanks
Our experience at Georgia Urology is one I hope other parents can avoid. When a provider specializes in Pediatric Urology one would hope that person understands the sensitivity involved especially as it pertains to the patient being someones child. The physician our child was evaluated by lacked sensitivity respect for our rights as parents and the ability to treat our child as someone she cared for and rather I believe that the physician saw our child as just another billable hour. Specifically after being given a diagnosis and told our child would need surgery naturally as parents we had many questions. Instead of answering our questions with the understanding that we are concerned parents shoulders were shrugged and eyes were rolled as we were rudely told Youre not going to remember this anyways We also did not receive a warm greeting upon entrance which was the start of what turned out to be a bad experience. Im only rating this location as a 2 because I do believe the physician is very knowledgeable in the field of pediatric urology...maybe she just shouldnt have chosen to work with children. I reached out in an attempt to offer feedback and two weeks later Im sad to report no one has returned my call. I feel empowered as a parent to have spoken with our childs primary care physician who after my report will likely think twice about referring any additional patients.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
