Grady Health System's Online Review Report Card

My son was in a car accident and not able to move or feed his self. He called me on morning of 12/15 screaming because nurses did not come in and feed him. I did stay the night and witnessed everything myself. No one have not came to check on him in hours. And on today he buzz for nurse because he were put on breathing machine and was lift on there for extremely long time where I had to removed from his face myself because nurse had not returned to feed him on this morning as well. All of this occurred when he was moved from ICU to step down unit 6A. At this point he just ready to leave Grady and go over to the Shepherd Center where can and will get the service and care needed.

I was born at grady..in 1972..but like I am in all things..I won't be bias in this review..It's really all about what doctors or nurses you deal with..As well as office staff...Some are nice and know customer service and others because they may not get paid enough or just not respect you as a person or patient,and like to put everyone in the same category...are rude and ....DON'T WANT TO TAKE BLAME FOR ANYTHING!...THEY'LL SAY IT'S ON YOU FOR ANY MISTAKES OR SLIP UPS DONE..EVEN BY OTHER STAFF..LIKE THE DOCTOR/NURSE I JUST LEFT...Through the years grady has had a reputation for nurses or doctors with bad attitudes..Sorry to say..that continues today..

My experience spans 4 days and 3 nights and this trauma team were consistently slow and indifferent in their approach. I had to assert myself every step of the process advocating for my husband's care. Professionalism and empathy are qualities sorely lacking. You just don't start a sentence with the word "Listen" without that being problematic. Nor do you express that the assistance being requested, and and I quote, "is above my pay grade". Unquestionably, this was the absolutely worst experience I have encountered with a medical team at one of the worst times in my life. Grady do better!

Worst hospital ever !!!! Waited over 4 hours to be seen !!!!!!!

I work there. Taken fr Butler Street parking lot. Construction of the forthcoming Correll Center. I believe it'll be for outpatient surgery

My husband Was sitting in the emergency room and I got a call telling me that someone would call me and no one called me at all and I don't know if he got admitted

Awful care EVERYTIME . Literal half vial of my blood just sitting there on the floor. Unhooked IV after being here for 3-4 hours. No pain medicine doctor sees you for 5 seconds then sends a student. This place is beyond ghetto and everyone need retraining I was poked three times when at any other hospital blood is drawn normally. I am bruised in pain and feeling embarassed for trusting this hospital

I love Grady so much! They always make me feel so cared for and they really care about their patients. <3

My father had a great experience in icu but when you go to step down, the nurses never check on you. If you are not going to allow family to stay and help the pt the nurses should be there to do so. Not go over 5 hrs and no one walks in the room.
