Harvey Chip Cole's Online Review Report Card

I enjoyed Dr. Chip Cole from my first encounter. He is a warm and caring physician who quickly made me feel comfortable during my visit. Dr. Cole's professional accolades are many, plus he teaches and gives back to his community. My eye surgery was a great success and I am so glad I was referred to this top doctor in field. The office staff is terrific; glad to help in any way possible. I would definitely choose Dr. Cole again.

No doubt Dr. Cole is very good at what he does. But that may not be his best trait as I have found him to be an equally good person over the past three years. And, we haven't even talked about his staff which includes Julia, the miracle worker! Exhibit A: My schedule (nope, just me) caused me to miss a year-end surgery appointment with Dr. Cole - yikes! For all my deductible people, I dreaded the call to reschedule because I knew their calendar was packed which meant this mistake could have cost me thousands more if rescheduled to 2022. I'm not sure how but Julia figured out a way to get me back on the '21 schedule! On the day of surgery, Dr. Cole didn't just check the pre-op boxes during our one-on-one. He saw something on my face that I didn't even notice and took care of it that day - wow! If they do this for an Alabama fan who has a tendency to miss appointments, just imagine what they will do for you! Roll Tide and thank you so much Oculus PS!

***KEEP LOOKING**** I wish I could select no stars!! Worst possible outcome and he only says "come back for another surgery." I went in 2 years ago for an ORBITAL DECOMPRESSION surgery for Thyroid Eye Disease. The double vision got worse, the inflammation got worse, my eyes are so out of alignment I look like a monster. Please do not let this man operate on you. Its been 2 years and I look awful. I'm currently seeking another surgeon to fix what Dr. Cole screwed up!! He will turn one surgery into 10 surgeries. He just wants money. It has taken me 2 years to write this review only because he said time will make it better. Well not true. I normally don't write reviews but I desperately hope someone reading this will reconsider this man operating on them. I don't want what happened to me to happen to someone else. Dr. Cole billed my insurance $64,000 and he is still trying to get $3,000 out of me. I paid my portion up front before I even went in for surgery. If I had known how bad my face was going to look, I would have stopped payment on all the checks.

I saw Dr. Cole because my previous plastic surgeon botched my skin. Dr. Cole is very kind, he has a huge heart to help! He's very compassionate and will go out of his way to help you. He listens. I would highly recommend him!

You can't select zero stars so I selected one in order to post the review. This "surgeon" is a complete and total hack. I can't believe he actually has a medical license. I went to him for a simple blepheroplasty a few years ago and he talked me in to much more surgery. And then he screwed it up. I've since had 3 procedures to fix his hack job (with a world class surgeon in another state) and have another surgery this year with her to continue the repair. My face will never be the same again. I can't say enough horrible things about this person, Mr Cole. (I will not call him a doctor!) Just Google him to see the million dollar settlement against him. I wish I had done that in advance of my procedure. Run as far away as you can from this man!!!!!! He will destroy life as you know it!!!

Excellent staff and doctor! I was satisfied with all the visits, follow-ups and communication by the nurses, staff and Dr. Cole. I highly recommend this doctor for any type of eye or face surgery!

Some give him a high rating. Beware however! Check further into him and read the not-so-good ratings. Understand this man's greed and lack of concern for "certain" patients led to a Georgia Supreme Ct ruling 10 years ago removing limits allowed for people horribly harmed by doctors like this. Don't buy into the hype. Research first! I was told he has had numerous suits filed against him, & that is abnormal for a good surgeon, period!

Run, don't walk, from this person. Even though he may be a legitimate ophthalmologist, he is not a true plastic surgeon (despite the "boards" he touts.) But even then, I wouldn't trust him to do even basic eye surgery, because he has hurt so many people in so many ways. Especially if you want cosmetic surgery, just go find a true pro. Because his ethic appears to be "do no harm... to people who are wealthy, famous, can promote me," but it's, "who cares, do whatever needs done to get money from the middle class fools who trust me, but don't worry about it b/c it's really hard to sue people like me." No kidding. That's my opinion of how he must think.

Worst possible outcomes and his only solution is "come back and have another facelift" (for another $22,000). Burned my face, left huge dark bags under my eyes. The list goes on...
