Very clear communication about getting travel related vaccinations. They were able to see me the same day, were cordial and had me in and out in short order. Highly recommend.

Unfortunately, the experience was not good. I should have heeded that warning when I called the location and simply paid the extra One-Hundred dollars a block over with Piedmont Urgent Care. My Error and now, I know.

I have always had good experiences at this doctor's office: the staff is friendly and capable, and their walk-in policy is very convenient (or you can also make an appointment). As a patient, you first meet with Darlicia who collects your symptoms. She is compassionate, warmhearted and thorough - a comforting welcome when you're not feeling great. I wish more doctors would realize how important medical assistants truly are... And then you meet with Amy, who is the PA. She is experienced and detail-oriented, and I've seen her make difficult diagnoses swiftly and accurately. Amy is also great about communicating with her patients: it is rare to have medical personnel get back to you so promptly - often within the hour. And Amy's medical reports are very comprehensive and detailed, often more detailed than those of a specialist. Thank you, Darlicia and Amy, and all the staff at HUC&FM. You do a wonderful job!

What an amazing experience! You can really tell Dr. Nicholas cares about his patients. The nurses were all very kind and helpful :) Pricing wise it was affordable compared to other Doctors offices. Thank you for an amazing and easy experience ❤️

Highland Urgent Care is an amazing urgent care. Compared to other offices it feels like home for me. I felt compelled to write this review after seeing the review regarding Taeshawn. The receptionist Taeshawn that greets us at the door has an amazing personality. She is always positive and very welcoming. When I am done with my appointment before I can hit the car she has already emailed me my itemized receipt and if she is busy she will give me a time frame on when to expect it. She has gone above and beyond several times to help me and my family who have been members here under peard for several months now. Whether it’s about getting my medication refill, calling to help me schedule an appointment where I was referred, setting up a phone visit, or even needing to ask the provider a question in the patient portal which is very easy to do. Taeshawn walked me through how to use the patient portal to communicate with providers or ask for refill etc. btw I am in no way tech savvy, but she explained it perfectly, and now I can use the portal on my own. We never had to wait for responses due to Taeshawn assisting us to resolve any issues. We know that we have medications and care that need monitoring so we signed up for peard so that we won’t have to stress medication refills. We can even come into the office with a last minute urgent request with no issues or schedule an appointment. That review is untrue and no one’s character should be diminished this way. Taeshawn is a sweet & committed employee. I have seen her in action so many times taking on several hats at highland. Go see for yourself and you won’t be disappointed.
