List of Jamilah Birdsong's Reviews
I went to see this 'In-network' doctor and confirmed that and my benefits with my insurance company prior to the visit. I arrived, paid my copay and had my visit. At the end of the visit, the doctor told me I needed to pay $197 for the visit per my insurance. The kicker was, they had written up my supposed benefits on a piece of paper and showed it to me as opposed to showing me an actual print out like it had actually been processed through their system. I refused because that's not what my insurance benefits are, I use Eye Med. She had me take the contact lenses from my eyes in the lobby in front of everyone over $197 I wasn't supposed to pay. I left her office humiliated and angry and finally filed an complaint with the appropriate agency. This was the absolute worst eye doctor I had ever been to. That was the most unprofessional visit I ever had.
She deserves 10 stars!! My 1st vistit with her she notice something was not right with my vision...I have a condition that I should have been diagnosed with a long time ago. She immediately research my old records and throughly examine my eyes to diagnose me correctly with my vision proplems. I'm so glad I met her,she really showed care and corncern about getting my vision corrected. I can't thank you enough Dr. Birdsong!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
