Dr.Klugman is the Very Best! Very Good Bed side manner. Super Smart and makes sure you don't have any questions . His Office staff is all very nice and efficient. The therapy is next door so that's nice to go over after at the same place. If I ever need a Hand Dr. again for myself or my children or Friends this is who we will see.

I had a successful thumb surgery with a negotiated, self-pay cash price. I paid upfront. This is where the good part ends. Now I get a pathology bill from Northside for $3200 (and now a new bill for $3700) and he plays dumb. I didn't authorize any of these charges but yet they are trying to give me the bill! Didn't know there was going to be any additional charges! I paid upfront! This 1 star review stays unless rectified. Update: I am upgrading this review from 1 to 3 stars. This is only because Northside helped rectify the billing issue. Great props to Northside for understanding the circumstances and resolving in a fair manner. The 3 stars represents good technical skills only. Communication and transparency on billing is poor. Update 2/4: Yet another bill comes my way from a third party for unauthorized services. Dr. Klugman and his team are by far the most incredible, caring, professional, knowledgeable hand and arm physician and care team. I honestly don’t know what I would do without them. I have had some unfortunate circumstances and some surgical needs that have put me in their office more times than I care to think about, but when the latest accident happened and I went to the ER and they told me that I would need to see an orthopedist, I was not afraid. I knew that I would get the best of the best of the best. And that’s what I got. You will too. Highly recommend Dr. Klugman, Isaac, Sacha, and the whole team. They got me in, treated me with kindness and gave me the confidence that this was going to be OK. Besides being an excellent hand surgeon, he literally changed my life. He is the first doctor in 20 years that paid attention to all my symptoms and made sure I saw the appropriate doctors, I’m not exaggerating when I say he changed and possibly saved my life.

Dr Klugman did an amazing job on my son's finger surgery! My sons finger was definitely going to be deformed after his accident but after doing some searching for a better doctor we found this office and my son's finger looks perfect after his surgery. Dr Klugman and his staff we extremely kind and helpful all the way through and the hospital we did the surgery at is THE BEST!!! The staff over the phone was indifferent. The appointment took several calls and call-backs over 30-45 minutes to get set. Dr. Klugman was emotionally tone def. After telling him my 15 year old son was a high athletic recruit, he told him not to even think about going pro (unprovoved). When rushing out of the room, he blurted out instruction to come take a look at X-ray with him. My son asked if he wanted him to come because it was unclear given Dr. Klugman was walking out of the examination room looking at neither of us. Dr. Klugman's reply? "It's your hand. Yeah, you should come". In relation to bedside manner, the doctor told us everything that could possibly go wrong without balancing or weighting probabilities (I had to probe). My son who is very level-headed looked horrified and stressed. Short of the long, I went to another doctor for a second opinion. MUCH better experience than Dr. Klugman's. Maybe it was a bad day for him. For us, a horrible experience.

very knowledge, precise doctor which I would expect for a detailed surgeon. He has a tendency to hurry through appt, but if you ask a question he slows down & explains things until you are comfortable. always thinking through all possible complications to get the best outcome. I would pick him to do another surgery without question. What I don't like is the automated check in. I have to put my dl and ins card through a reader and touch screen. The office has this info so sync up with the days appt to make checking in easier and only request new ins info if you check that it is diff than last time you were in. The "check out" person gets overwhelmed easily has a hard time multitasking. I don't like that she rushes through making appt and collecting money is her priority. I like things to go through my ins first and get a bill in the mail. This gives me time to ensure correct, that I can pay from an acct that I want and that it was processed by ins correctly. It is embarrassing

Dr. Klugman and his team were awesome. They did a great job explaining the process and potential outcomes.
