List of John Andrachuk's Reviews
Dr. Andrachuck's office has no experience working with VA patients. At every turn they have been unaware of their requirements in getting VA to approve treatment resulting in multiple interruptions to my recovery. I had a total knee surgery that has left me less mobile and in more pain than before. Dr. Andrachuck's office is required to get VA authorization for procedures, yet they have failed to do so every time. I was the one that had make numerous calls and messages to VA and Dr. Andrachuck to get my physical therapy started. I was the one that had to work to get my PT extended after their failure to do so resulted in a 3 week interruption. I showed up for a scheduled cortisone shot only to be turned away because (again) the office did not request VA authorization. A month later they still have failed to seek authorization for that OR for the second, corrective surgery needed. Just a nightmare. Wish I had never had this surgery - not by this doctor & not by this office.
A 79-year-old woman, I felt the assessment of my right knee, sometimes painful or locking, and swollen from several falls, was comprehensive. Explaining and performing the short, out-patient arthroscopy with meniscectomy surgery, Dr. Andrachuk and the PA, Hannah Hartman, were professional and totally competent. My outcome is perfect, with no post-surgical nausea or pain at all, so "0" use of pain meds!
Hip surgery. Went perfect. Could not be happier with him and his staff.
After spending a few years trying to figure out whether my pain was related to my neck or my shoulder I moved to Atlanta and was fortunately placed in the hands of Dr Andrachuk! Thorough evaluation, testing & tackling some insurance obstacles for me, he scheduled surgery then immediate physical therapy to alleviate my pain & set me on course to enjoy life once again. Expertise like that, coupled with tremendous bedside manner is why I highly recommend him.
Today was my second appointment with Dr. Andrachuk and I have the same opinion that he isn't a patient advocate. As a nurse I know my body and the catalyst for my shoulder pain because I lived in this body for 50 plus years. I respect medical opinions, but I prefer a provider who trust that the patient knows their body, especially if patient is a nurse.
Dr. Andrachuk is by far the best doctor of any kind I’ve ever known. Having lower back pain, even after a fusion, for over 20 YEARS, Dr. A made my pain mainly go away with a hip scope! That was 1 and 1/2 yrs ago. Now I need to have a cortisone shot maybe once s yr. IMPORTANT: Dr Andrachuk has moved his practice to Northside Sports Medicine! I highly recommend you to call for an appt At 404:847. 4210 Very smart, very caring professional and he thinks out of the box for solutions for his patients . He’s the only doctor I’ve found who does hip scopes! And his office offers wonderfully friendly service. His nurse is the best! Fondly, Beth Shaifer
I am devastated that this great doctor and surgeon is moving his practice!!!! I really need to know where he will be! How can I find out. Beth Shaifer 404.213.5750
Very patient. Nice.
Great staff. Dr was easy to talk to and listened to me.
Dr. Andrachuk did 2 arthroscopic bursectomies, right and left. He has an excellent bedside manner, clearly explains everything and partners with his patients to give them back their quality of life.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
