As a retired nurse, I've seen a fair number of doctors in my life, some as a nurse some as a patient. First let me say, a doctor is your choice not your insurance companies, yes you have to work within the confines of those accepting your insurance but seek out the best you can. For me Dr Walrath was exactly that. It starts with the efficiency of his office and staff, all of whom are knowledgeable and gets the job done. I never waited more than 5-7 minutes except once and that was because of a language barrier with a patient. Next, Dr. Walrath's knowledge is exceptional and he speaks to you like a person and explains things in detail, no question from you the patient is unacceptable to him. His skills are exceptional and to put the icing on the cake his bedside manner and sense of humor are wonderful I would absolutely recommend him to my close family and friends. I won't go back....because I won't need to, his work is amazing

I would highly recommend Dr. Walrath and his team for your eye surgery needs. I was very impressed with his knowledge on where he could make adjustments to my upper and lower lids. He was very honest about where he was not sure it would work. He was extremely personable and checked in with me personally before the surgery, and then when I had questions I would contact him and he would call me back in a very short time span. The final product is amazing. I have had people notice from across the room how refreshed I look and really the only change was Dr. Walrath's great work. I have recommended him to everyone who asked. If you want a doctor who really cares about what you are wanting, someone who is personable and interested in your recovery as well, this is your doctor.

Friendly staff. My first appointment was quick, surprisingly. I went in for a chalazion excision and Dr. Walrath was done in 10 minutes. He is funny, comforting and personable. I felt at ease during the whole process.

Dr Walrath is amazing! I had upper bleph with him a couple months ago, love my results! Some key takeaways for me: 1) during the consultation, he was extremely thorough, listened to my concerns and addressed every one of them, confidently. Additionally, he won't sell you a procedure you don't need and he's realistic about attainable results. 2) During the procedure, which was my first under local anesthesia, he was calming and reassuring. I was very nervous and he truly made it a pleasant experience. 3) After the procedure, he called himself the next day to check on me and not only did he allow me to ask any questions, he asked his own to make sure things were going okay. All this to say, I've had other consultations and other cosmetic surgeries, Dr Walrath's bedside manner and level of care and concern is far above the rest. Planning a lower bleph with him next!
