Its been 6 months since Dr. Sinervo performed the Lapex Thoracic Collaborative surgery that removed the Endometriosis causing my lung to collapse 3 times in under a year and the source of many years of infertility. Dr. Sinervo was a true expert on how to treat this terrible disease which many other medical professionals overlooked and misdiagnosed. His experience gained my trust and confidence in the surgical process. Together with the thoracic surgeon he located Endo fenestrations on my diaphragm and removed them. He also successfully located Endo that was diffused throughout my abdomen effecting other organs. I can compare this surgical experience to a previous thoracic surgery and the recovery time went much smoother under Dr. Sinervos care. Currently I have no symptoms of diaphragm Endo and am encouraged to believe that I wont be suffering from another collapsed lung. Ive regained a quality of life thanks to him and his team. Thank you

To Dr sinervo It took me about three years to write this review about my surgery in 2018. I went for this surgery because I’ve been trying to conceive for about 10 years. I’ve had one ablation surgery prior and that experience was extremely different from the one with Dr Sinervo. I think he was able to treat all hidden endometriosis, dissect the lesions and clear out my bowel endo which was not easy to treat. I had a bowel cyst removal with a 4cm bowel resection. My bowel surgery was done my Dr Macik. I had a stage 4 endo with adenomiosis. I am very happy I’ve chosen Dr Sinervo. His professionalism, striving for excellence as well new technologies and his big heart made a big difference in my treatment. Our communication was brief, but always to the point and I was reassured that he was listening to me and my complaints. He was gentle and supportive. Unfortunately, most of my pre and post surgery communication was with the CEC team. I believe that healing correctly post surgery is also a key success factor. My surgery went well, but healing was awful, partially because of lack of support and communication with the specialists. I understand that being out of state has some limitations, however a proper guidance might be given even over the phone after the surgery. My healing was nothing to what I was prepared with blood and pain for around 6 months and I advised to “wait and see” by the nurses on the phone. They told me it was not normal, but no more guidance or investigation was provided. Actually, any information would have been helpful, just more time to be spent on my case so I see they are still caring for me as I’d been their patient. At this time I felt ruined financially and brocken morally, stress added more pressure on my body and new and old illnesses showed up. I would recommend new patients to do your research of your local doctors/surgeons who can make a proper follow up post-op. Nevertheless, I healed physically and emotionally and I got pregnant naturally a few years after. At the end, only the result counts and I am very grateful to Dr Sinervo for his expertise and patience with complex cases like mine. Without him I wouldn’t probably have become a happy mom as I am now.

I am two weeks post op and I am still amazed at how this amazing doctor has taken and continues to take such amazing care of me! I was given Dr Sinervo’s name by a friend and read even more about him in an Endometriosis Facebook group. I did a free case review with him at the Center for Endometriosis Care even though I was scared out of my mind that I was going to hear the same crap I’ve heard for 25 years. He immediately put my anxieties to rest from the very first time I talked to him in the phone. I ended up having a laparoscopic excision for Stage II endometriosis and adenomyosis that consisted of a complete hysterectomy, including my cervix, and appendectomy. My bladder and ovaries were also excised. It’s been two weeks and I can already tell a difference! It’s almost unbelievable! His bedside manner is also second to none! His compassionate and gentle manner put me at ease and made me feel totally comfortable under his care. His transparency was shocking! He gave me pictures AND a video of my complete surgery to take home! What doctor does that?! He prayed with me before walking into the OR and was waiting for me in to OR. He grabbed my hand and said "I'm going to hold your hand while you fall asleep. You're safe. We are going to take good care of you. We aren't going to let anything happen to you." All while Bare Naked Ladies was playing! Bonus points there! Endometriosis is something that is not talked about or taken seriously by many OB/GYNs. And even if it is taken seriously (like with my OB/GYN), many of them are not specialists in this disease. You HAVE to have a specialist if you have endo. I would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this dr if you even suspect you have endo. It can literally ruin your life but you DO NOT HAVE TO SUFFER IN SILENCE. If you are in the fence or scared/anxious about talking to yet another doctor, go see Dr Ken Sinervo! He’s amazing and I am beyond grateful for his gift!

Yes! There is a doctor who cares AND is skilled with Endometriosis and Adenomyosis!!

After 30+ years of pain and an arduous journey with endometriosis, I found Dr. Kenny Sinervo. I am 6wk po from a successful (Stage IV) Endometriosis excision surgery and hysterectomy (Adenomyosis) with Dr. Kenny Sinervo of Center for Endometriosis Care in Atlanta. The team at CEC is made up of gracious and compassionate dedicated medical professionals. Since I first engaged CEC two years ago it was a gentle relationship full of understanding and a great deal of patience. It took me two years to come to the decision of surgery as a treatment. Dr. Sinervo is an impeccably skilled, and incredibly compassionate surgeon who is dedicated to the improvement of the lives of his patients. I have never felt so cared for by a physician and his team. Today I am living pain-free and I have hope for a better quality of life. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Sinervo and his CEC team.

Dr. Sinvero is the best doctor I have EVER had. He listens truly seeks to understand and identify root cause. I had endo surgery with him last year and before I was so nervous and he initiated a prayer with me. He is the utmost professional and top notch doctor. I strongly recommend him to anyone especially those whose endometriosis symptoms have been ignored by gyn’s for several years.

I am to provide feedback about my experience with Dr. Sinervo at CEC IN Atlanta, GA. I am now 2 weeks post-op. My experience at CEC was amazing. All of the office team was helpful and extremely nice. My husband attended the pre-op with me. We went over everything and discussed all of our questions. I knew exactly what was going to happen during the surgery and I was aware of any “what-ifs”. Before surgery in pre-op the entire surgical and anesthesia team came to meet me. Dr. Sinervo came in last- We talked, joked and he prayed over us. In the OR I became a bit emotional and Dr. Sinervo sat with me, dried my tears and held my hand until I was asleep. The surgery was extremely successful. I am healing wonderfully and expect to be back to full activity sooner than I expected. My entire experience with Dr. Sinervo and CEC has been wonderful. They gave me hope when I didn’t feel I would ever feel healthy again. I would recommend them to anyone who is struggling with endo. For the first time in a long time I can see a future without pain!

He is very attentive and you right away tell he cares about his patients. My surgery for endometriosis went great. His team is also very professional and help with whatever is needed outside of the operating room

I can't say enough great things about Dr Sinervo and the CEC and am so grateful for the care I have received there. I had surgery in Feb. for endometriosis, as well as an appendectomy and cholecystectomy. After years of being told there was nothing really wrong with me by other providers, to have Dr Sinervo tell me that he would be prepared for any level of disease gave me such peace. It is a large part of why I traveled to the CEC from Seattle. His staff is absolutely amazing too!

I self referred for 50 year history of Endometriosis pelvic pain and complications from previous surgeries. We had preop consultation the day before surgery with Dr Sinervo and consulting thoracic surgeon. Day of surgery was uneventful. I was discharged in the second postoperative day to our nearby hotel. We returned to the CEC five days later. We returned home to Arizona one week after surgery. Minor problems were handled as occurred. I highly recommend Dr Sinervo without reservations.
