Dr. Champney is thorough, spends the time necessary with a patient and explains things clearly and precisely. She has worked, consulting with other cardiologists to get my heart issue under control. Great bedside manner!!

It is ridiculous how much Dr. Champney charges for her services. I was in her office due to heart palpitations. She talked to me for less than 10 minutes and gave no prescriptions. She just told me to get bloodwork. She only took my blood pressure, which was high, and temperature. She charged $484 for just a 10 minute consultation and all she did was tell me to get bloodwork. I would not recommend her to anybody.

I was in Dr. Champney's office due to heart palpitations. She just told me to get bloodwork. I had blood pressure and temperature checked. I was charged $484 for just a 10 minute consultation. She told me to go back to my primary doctor and get bloodwork. When I asked someone at the billing department if that is the average cost for an office visit, I was told it was because I was new patient. Due to my very high deductible, my insurance would not pay for the expenses. It is ridiculous to charge $484 for a 10 minute consultation.

Wonderful cardiologist and experience! Dr. Champney goes above and beyond to listen carefully and to explain all aspects of treatment. She is very knowledgeable and competent as well as kind and compassionate. Highly recommend her and the office staff at this practice.

I am totally pleased with Dr. Champney. She is very professional, cordial and thorough. I am a former Hospital Administrator and know a good MD from a not so good. I would highly recommend her. I read the one star rated comments and frankly do NOT believe it.

Dr. Champney was very thorough. She presented my treatment options and explained my problems that was easy for me to understand. She took as much time as needed. I recommend Dr. Champney as a cardiologist. I have full confidence in Dr. Champney.

Dr. Champney spent a great deal of time by phone and in person making sure that my mother understood her diagnosis, current condition and prognosis. She was extremely patient encouraging my mother to ask questions, and allaying any fears about the proposed procedure. Most importantly was that she diagnosed my mother correctly and referred her to an interventional cardiologist who performed a very successful cardiac valve replacement.

I don't like going to doctors but if I need to go I defiantly do not mind going to see Dr. Champney. She was very through and listened to my concerns and came up with a action plan while still motoring my progress. Love her and wont go anywhere else.

Dr. Champney is always concerned and takes time to work with her patients. She called me and talked on the phone to understand my concerns after hours. Worked to get my medicine adjusted and does not hesitate to order tests that are medically needed.
