L. Franklyn Elliott's Online Review Report Card

I first had a double mastectomy in May 2020 with Dr. Elliott doing reconstructive surgery with tram. Was very pleased then. Then after having radiation one of my breasts was smaller so had another surgery to transfer fat. And also decided to have eyelid surgery at the same time. Everything turned out perfect. Dr. Elliott is a perfectionist. I would 100% recommend him.

I went to Dr Elliott to replace implants from a previous double mastectomy and the end result was terrible. When I went to talk to him about a revision I was told it would be another 6k to fix it. On top of that his assistant Suzanne never checked with my insurance company or followed up with me after my visit. Now- four months after the fact, she calls out of the blue asking me (quite rudely) to pay a co-pay for my visit 4 months ago. What a horrible experience, I wish I had gone to a different doctor.Needless to say I would not recommend him to anyone!

This dr is horrible.

I was very disappointed in the outcome of my surgery. My implants had to be replaced due to capsular contracture. I wanted them to be the exact same size and was very clear in expressing this to Dr. Elliot. He replaced my implants with smaller implants which resulted in a highly visible scar on my torso rather than underneath the breast and hidden as it had been previously. Now I feel like I am walking around scarred; I am unhappy,, sleepless and depressed as I am constantly conscious of the scar. I can’t look ay myself undressed as I can’t bear to see the scar. My significant other has also remarked on the size difference and visibility of the scar. Dr. Elliot blamed me/my body when I confronted him about it and claimed my implants “landed high”. I feel victimized. A good plastic surgeon does not blame the patient for a bad result, (particularly on such a basic procedure); a good plastic surgeon achieves a visually appealing outcome - no excuses.

if I could give zero stars I would but I don't think you can. If you are seeing doctor Elliot for anything related to reconstruction after breast cancer, don't do it. My breasts look terrible! They are two different sizes, they are uneven so much that I cannot even wear a bra and they are extremely painful. if I actually allowed myself to, I would cry every time I saw myself in the mirror. I 100% regret having surgery with dr. Elliott! His bedside manner is not good at all. I would recommend very strongly getting a second opinion!!

I'm grateful to have been referred to Dr. Frank Elliott following my breast cancer diagnosis. A patient facing breast surgery and reconstruction wants to know that her surgeon is confident, experienced and highly skilled. Dr. Elliott meets all those expectations and is an expert in his field. The shape of my breast are exactly what I wanted..they look very natural. I'm currently a patient of Dr.Elliott and can't say enough how Thankful I'am of my result. He has to be the most compassionate doctor I've seen thus far. I knew from the day I found him online and read his Bio he was the doctor for me his bedside manner is amazing and you could see he truly care about you as a human being and he doesn't look at you as if your just another patient. I've been ashamed of my arms for the last 23 years of my life now I don't have to be thanks to him. When I look in the mirror at my arms now I think about how he have set me free of my wings that I never asked for in the first place.
