List of Laureate Medical Group's Reviews
I am absolutely devastated. The endocrinologists I’ve been seeing at this location has not made me feel as if I matter. I have to hound the office for test results and after getting them I’m not advised in any plan or advice to treat. Also let me add that the MESSAGE not call regarding the results didn’t discuss all the issues. While trying to switch to another physician for my symptoms that I KNOW is related I’m told to see my primary car physician which will in FACT refer me right back to my endocrinologist! These are hard times and NO ONE HAD THE FREAKING TIME or money to go back and forth. At this point I feel neglected! I thyroid surgery in December and I’ve been trying to get assistance since May or June and everything is worsening! I’m contacting the hotline, HR, and writing multiple complaints regarding this. This is exactly why this office has a high turn over! They do not care about their patients and it’s ridiculous. Everything is NOT COVID related..
So I have been going here getting blood work done. So I did my second set of blood work August 16th. No one ever called to discuss the results with me. I called on the 26th and the lady on the other line said she would have someone reach out to me. No one did! Around the 2nd of September my portal was updated with the results (no one still has not reached out at this point). So I called today about speaking with someone and to ask another question, I spoke with some lady called Navalah or whatever her name was (she disclosed she wasn't a nurse she was just an assistant), she had an attitude and even after explaining what I wanted, (but clearly if you work in the doctors office it is expected you are atleast knowledgeable of the services offered) and her not giving the answers I needed she caught an attitude saying I didn't answer her question. When we got ready to get off the phone she didn't hang up yet and I overheard her saying "wow she is so pushy".Horrible customer service to be taking about clients/patients with your coworkers especially SINCE I COULD STILL HEAR YOU! I will not be recommending anyone to go here.
This practice continues to lose practitioners, and it’s pretty clear as to why. My original provider left several months ago, and it’s been absolute chaos ever since. Clinical staff is rude/inappropriate, prescriptions are never filled on time (and not at all unless you call multiple times to ensure that your refill requests are, in fact, being processed), I’ve not once gotten a call back from an on-call provider, and wait times on the phone are the worst I’ve ever experienced in healthcare. I manage operations at an outpatient facility, and it’s understandable that clinics in transition (as this clinic obviously is) sometimes have temporary setbacks, operational challenges, etc… however, there is no effort being made to implement improvements at any level. Things have, sadly, only continued to get worse. I will be seeking an immediate transfer of care and would not recommend Laureate Midtown to anyone - specifically Dr. Kleber or his staff.
Had my PCP here and he was great but left the group- it has been a nightmare ever since! I randomly saw one doctor last year after mine left- and she was great but my insurance assigned me a different PCP within the group. He refused to see me - flat out refused. They wouldn’t let me see the doctor they had me listed under either as my insurance wouldn’t cover her!I have been struggling to get through to my insurance to update my PCP to someone else- which has left me without primary care and medications for months now. I get the constant runaround and overall will be looking for care elsewhere.
Dr. Gandy is quite capable and respectful but her staff PA nursing assistants and nurses are always too rushed to do their job well. The process is too corporate. I do not believe I am getting the attention I need nor the definitive information either.
updateofficially left laureate after 25 years. still have not heard from the doctor or the 'management' my wife spoke to.
Dr. MillhouseJones is HORRIBLE I would not recommend anyone to this Dr or the Laureate Group I am beyond disappointed in the front desk staff as well. I had several questions that were never answered even expressedmy concerns to the office manager practice administrator. I was recently dismissed from the practice because im concerned with my own health Dr. MillhouseJones was unable to help. I was not mad at all because I was shopping around for a provider who actually cares for their patients versus one who was only interested in collecting my innetwork copay.Again I urge anyone reading this review to NOT go to this practice Its like dealing with a warehouse the patients are apart of an assembly line.I LOATHE the Jonesboro Midtown offics very rude unprofessional..You have been warned If you value your health mental clarity STAY AWAY from.the Laureate Medical Group
I see Dr K Pepper and she is great. She listened to everything you have to say.
Currently looking for new physicians because the situation has gotten even worse. Literally taking weeks to get any response via portal or phone from doctors and nurses. My health is suffering. Spoke to several doctors who had been going to Laureate as patients who told me they are experiencing similar interactions and encouraged me to find a new practice. It's so sad to see what Laureate has become. But enough is enough. They don't value their patients
I've been a patient of Laureate for approximately 15 years. My doctor is wonderful, but the "corporation" or whatever this organization is has become a nightmare. You have to wait at least 3 or 4 months for an appointment. Then they give you a 15 minute window, and cancel your appointment if you're 16 minutes late, even though they've moved to a part of town that is VERY crowded and difficult to navigate. I had an appointment today at 3:30, was having trouble getting there, called at 3:28 to tell them I was in the area, had several text exchanges with them over the next few minutes -- so they knew I was very close and trying to get there, and they STILL cancelled my appointment. This kind of "service" is just unacceptable.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
