List of Laureate Medical Group's Reviews
I had the same experience as another reviewer. I have been an established patient of Laureate Medical Group for many years - My PCP Dr. Shulman (who I loved) retired at the end of last year, and Dr. Marshall (who had been recommended by Dr. Shulman) was to take over as my new primary care doc. I scheduled an appointment for my annual with Dr. Marshall last September, only to get notification in the last few weeks that it has been cancelled. When I called the contact center to reschedule, I was told that they were scheduling new patient appointments with his Physician's Assistant this year, and that he would see me next year. When you schedule an appointment a full year in advance, you should be seen by the doctor with whom you are scheduled, and not told that you have to wait another year to see him in person. I asked the scheduler to relay my dissatisfaction to Dr. Marshall's office, and told her that it's a great way to loose business I gather that they are getting lots of similar feedback from other unhappy patients. In the meantime, the first available appointment I can get with another doctor in the same practice is 5 months out!
I have seen several doctors there and they have all been excellent.
Dr Marshall is very friendly...
I do not understand the negative reviews. I’ve been coming here for about 5 years and I’ve never found a medical group that takes my health so seriously. Dr. Kiepura is the best PCP I’ve ever had! She will call or email me directly and she really listens, even remembers more of my past than I do. I’ve been to a number of practices over the years and none compare to the appreciation that I have for Dr. Kiepura and Laureate.
Worst medical experience EVER!I was looking for a new physician to replace my retiring doctor. Laureate was conveniently located, so I decided to give them a try. About 80% of their doctors weren't accepting new patients at all, so I asked for a recommendation. I went with a doctor they recommended. But getting in to see the doctor required a wait for three months. That's right, THREE MONTHS before I could get an appointment! Who wants a doctor that needs three months to get an appointment to see??I decided to check out another doctor who was recommended to me and got to see him the very same week. (He's great)A Laureate doctor might be OK if you don't actually need a doctor, but if you need to see a doctor, look elsewhere.
I was on time for my appt but no one ever came to call me for my appt. I left 10 minutes after appt time with no explanation as to why I was not called for my appt.
This Medical practice is going down hill rapidly. I have been a patient of Dr. Scott Shulman for 20 years and had a great experience. Unfortunately, he is no longer practicing, and suggested Dr. John Marshall. This man has cancelled my appointment twice My appointments were schedule almost a year ago. The first time he reschedule, and now is cancelling all together. My annual exam is important to me. I'm 73 years old, diabetic, and have had 6 Cardiac Bypasses. This Doctor and his staff do not care for their patients.
This review pertains to the horrible treatment my father received from the front office staff at the Sandy Springs office that supports Dr. Qureshi."I received one round of Botox injections for my chronic migraine treatment. My insurance didn't pay and I had to pay roughly 1500 for the injections and doctor's visit. The injections don't begin working until the 2nd or 3rd round of injections, so you have to return multiple times. Botox has a pay back program to receive up to 1200 back. The program requires documentation from the doctor's office proving that you received care for an approved condition. I dropped off the document to be signed. A week later and they still haven't helped. They lost the paper once already and I had to provide a second copy. They then gave me the run around and after a week told me that I had to make an appointment to get my document back. It's very strange and honestly, feels like they either don't want to give me the document or want a copay since all I needed was a signature. I will not be returning to this practice."
Take my advice. Steer clear. The billing office is as disorganized as the doctors. They literally guess what you should be charged and through it in a bill. Every time I call with a question about billing, the representatives in the billing office have no idea how to explain how they arrived to a certain balance. I was just told my bill was higher because I saw two doctors in the same day even though I only saw one. The one I did see that day was confused about my prescription in which she advised in my previous visit. Value your health and your money and find another office to go to.
a horrible medical practice: their billings are full of erroneous charges. Stay way from it!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
