Dr. Schapiro is a very kind and knowledgeable physician who cares for her patients. She listened as I explained my symptoms and we engaged in dynamic conversation through which I learned more about my physical health and treatmentremedial options.

Dr. Shapiro was such a nice surprise to have as a first visit to a new to me gyno practice She is very nice with a great “bed side” manner that immediately made me feel at ease and is a good listener. So happy my GP referred me to her

I was dismissed as a patient today due to a change in insurance. I turned 65 in November at which point you are covered by Medicare...like it or not. I have a reliable secondary insurance. IdealGynecolgy will not continue as my provider basically due to my age They offer selfpay however as a retired teacher I cannot afford that. If you are approaching 65 do NOT choose Ideal Gynecology as your provider. They will not be loyal to you as a patient even though they were good providers before my Medicare birthday.

If you are like me..young enough to need a gynecologist and too old to need an obstetrician... Ideal Gynecology is the perfect doctor for you A very professional and personable front desk receptionist to greet you an attentive medical assistant to get you ready for your appointment and a very experienced thorough engaged doctor with state of the art technology to make your appointment as smooth as possible. Dr. Lillian Schapiro is not only my doctor but also the new doctor for my teenager.

I found Dr. Schapiro to be somewhat dismissive of my concerns. I do not not feel as though she fully listened to and that she cared about what I was saying. I feel like I was told what was best for me despite me expressing a desire for selecting or at least discussing a different option. She was not very gentle either. Overall her office is very nice clean and comfortable. Her staff is sweet. I just dont think her nonchalant style met my needs.
