Margaret helped me to completely change my perspective on my health and the decisions I was making around that. This has been such a liberating experience and I finally feel free, empowered, and capable of making decisions aligned with my values.
My collaboration with Margaret proved to be a profoundly transformative and life-altering experience for me. Her approach, characterized by warmth and non-judgmental guidance, provided me with a unique opportunity to delve into my relationship with food in ways I had never explored before. Despite the deceptive difficulty of the work, Margaret's comforting presence and style significantly eased the process of engagement. As a result of our work together, I gained a much clearer understanding of my relationship with food, paving the way for positive and meaningful changes. The Authentic Nourishment program is an excellent format to explore relationships with food and to incorporate new and healthier means of feeding oneself and self care in general. I have fought a battle with food for decades. So much of my time, energy and resources were spent on the newest fad diet, cleanses, magic supplements, all the loose weight fast promises. I would start each new thing with less money in my bank account and a horrible attitude because so many other things were taken away in my effort to get my eating habits under control. All the things would work for a short period of time and then I’d go back to my old habits and shortly be in a worse off place than where I started. Finally I had had enough and decided to find a nutritionist to assist me. That was when I had the great fortune of meeting Margaret and being introduced to her Authentic Nourishment program. In working through the program with Margaret’s guidance, I learned that food was not my enemy after all. Her well thought out and well structured process is brilliant, perfectly ordered and for me filled with life bulb moments. Doing the work, meeting with Margaret and trusting the process has brought me to a place of acceptance, freedom and well being that is powerful. I feel equipped to navigate the aspect of nourishing my body with food and am so grateful for the peace it has brought me. Thank you Margaret for sharing your story, inspiration, knowledge and wisdom with such care and respect. You are a super star!

I cannot begin to express how thankful I am to have participated in the program, Authentic Nourishment and especially to have met Margaret. Margaret has a developed a very thoughtful, intentional, science-based, and whole-self approach to helping individuals gain a better understanding of their relationship with food and in turn leading to a healthier relationship with their bodies. Margaret leads with compassion, knowledge and care. She has a unique ability to connect with people and to meet them where they are at. With her guidance, I feel that I am finally at a place in life (or maybe nearing that place) where I am at peace with myself and believe that I have the vital skills to adapt as needed when new challenges inevitably arise!
Margaret is just the best! I met with her during a very vulnerable time in my postpartum journey of desiring weight loss. I couldn’t think of a more wonderful person to talk through things with and come up with a game plan that I felt comfortable with. Margaret is a wonderful listener, compassionate, and extremely wise. She has a very healthy and balanced perspective on health and is gifted in meeting you right where you are. I am so thankful that I found her and I look forward to working with her in the future.
My 12 sessions of 1:1 work with Margaret have made a positive impact on my behavior, not just around food and body image but also in other areas of my life. I especially appreciate Margaret's ability to foster deep reflection, strengthen my mindfulness practice and nudge me to connect the dots intellectually and emotionally. She is supportive and provides expert guidance and knowledge, but her approach emphasizes the need for the client to do the hard work. Highly recommend!
It's not often I do reviews because they can be time consuming, but today I had the most beautiful conversation with Margaret. Through conversation I was able to feel the empathy and heart she truly has. Though my journey may take me down a different path, I left with a clear understanding of how caring, understanding and truly her desire to want to help people. Working with Margaret was a pleasure. She was attentive to and understanding of my needs and goals. Learning to accept what are habits are and where they came from is only the start of the process. She helps in setting long term goals and cultivating habits to help you meet those goals.
