I did a lot of research on plastic surgeons as my case was more complicated due to having a previous tummy tuck, several hernias & needing diastasis recti repair. After the consultation with Dr, Castillo I knew that he was who I wanted to do my surgery. He was very thorough about the procedure & answered any questions I had. He also has the best bedside manner, he takes the time to get to know his patients. His caring about his patients does not stop after the surgery, he would call me & check on me daily. If I have questions all I have to do is call the office or email Dr. Castillo. He always gets back to me. I’m 5 months out from my surgery. My results have exceeded my expectations. I definitely recommend Dr. Castillo to anyone needing plastic surgery. He’s the BEST!!

Dr. Nelson Castillo has been an absolute delight to work with from start to finish. I cannot say enough positive things about Dr Castillo! I had a somewhat complicated recovery and he made me feel as if I was his only patient. I recently had breast implant removal done with Dr. Castillo and I am so glad I chose him as my surgeon! He also did a revision on my old scars and I’m beyond happy with the results. I LOVE Dr. Castillo! He makes you feel as if you are the only patient for the day. He takes his time and makes you feel at ease. He explains everything in detail and is very calm and reassuring. He also follows up regularly to ensure that all of your needs are addressed so his care for you continues even after your visit. I trust him immensely and highly recommend him!

Dr. Castillo is an amazing doctor who does something not too many doctors do; he is totally accessible and ALWAYS contacts you after a procedure and answers your questions himself once you get home. He is also very skilled and detailed. I did a tummy tuck with him in July 2021 and I am extremely happy with my results. My scar looks great and, my shape came out beautiful and my belly button is a work of art. On top of all this, he is also honest and tells you like it is even, if it is not what you had in mind. He does my fillers and botox. In my first consultation with him about fillers and botox he told me that the cusp of my upper lip (I had done filler there three years before) looked unnatural and not very appealing. I followed his advise and he dissolved the filler and my lip looked so much better after that. His results are very natural and people will tell you that you look great without realizing that you had something done. He is punctual and his appointments are always right on time. Like I said before, an amazing doctor!

Let me preface this review by saying everyone in my life describes me as hypercritical and straightforward to a fault. So when I say that I cannot think of anything in my experience with Dr. Castillo that I would change, I mean it very literally. He started my consultation expressing concern that I may not be a good candidate for such a major surgery given the prolonged recovery and the importance of taking the time off to heal. This set him apart from other providers, who only tried to sell me on having surgery and on themselves. He was very approachable and open, and he presented an honest point of view regarding my expected results and prescribed a treatment plan for me that he believed would optimize my results. I felt confident in his vision for me. Surgery went very well. Dr. Castillo came to see me in the post-op recovery room and called me later that evening to check-in. For the next two weeks, I heard from him every day via phone call or email, making sure my recovery was going as planned. I never had any apprehension or anxiety about complications because I always knew Dr. Castillo was reachable and remained committed to my results post-op. I'm only three weeks post-op today, but I'm so incredibly happy with my results and experience that I felt obligated to post a review, hoping to help other women (and men!) in their journey to finding the right surgeon to trust with their bodies. After having lost 120 lbs, I still felt so embarrassed of my body, but that's completely changed now. My neighbors probably hate me, as I walk around naked as often as possible now -- a complete 180 from only a month ago. Dr. Castillo provides life-changing care. I'm so happy he dedicated himself to this discipline, and I chose him for my mommy makeover.
