List of Northside Family Medicine & Urgent Care - Midtown's Reviews
The entire experience was… challenging. Front desk was difficult to communicate with and showed little enthusiasm. Nurse had attitude. I overheard the nursing staff talking loudly about other patient test results in the common area. Do not recommend going to this location.
Wow, kinda shocked about all the bad reviews. I’ve visited this urgent care about 4-5 times in the last two years and always been happy with the service. The front desk staff is nice, helpful, and let you know how long it will be for you to see someone. The medical staff has never steered me or my husband wrong. They are realistic and provide effective treatment. I find them to be a true asset to our Midtown community. I can only speak for my experience and I’m not trying to negate anybody else’s. That said, I would recommend them to any of my loved ones.
The bald female receptionist was extremely rude, abrasive, and unprofessional. She’s lucky she caught me while I was in the worst pain I’ve felt in my life cause I’m from NYC and we don’t play that— it’s just not how you treat people. Like, for an URGENT care worker, her agitation was unacceptable. Despite my severe pain, she rushed me insensitively and demanded I complete numerous forms just before closing— and pressed me to do it WHILE I was in the doctor’s room. Mind you, I was so stressed and overstimulated by my diagnosis I could barely even think. She even refused to validate my friend's parking out of spite. As college students, we found this petty and inconsiderate. The facility should improve their hiring process with respect to receptionists cause that was just so ghetto. However, Dr. Stewart and the medical assistants/nurses were excellent. Her diagnosis was effective and she is the sweetest soul.
The care here was super inefficient and not theror also the woman checking me in processed to yell my name across the lobby that’s personal information also ther where virtually no patient's in there and it took over two hours to be seen
We were in from out of town and came in for a broken foot. The facility was very nice and clean. Everyone there was super nice. Only waited about 15-20 minutes. They were able to do my x-rays right there and came back with the results within minutes. Highly recommend.
Excellent, prompt treatment. Compassionate and accommodating staff. I cannot say enough good things. Took care of a broken ankle quickly.
My first time here and was greeted by a friendly receptionist. After completing paperwork was seen very quickly. Doctor was great no complaints. Explained everything clearly and we had a good laugh, super nice. Strange comments by some to say it’s hoodlike as it’s in a prime location in Midtown, definitely not the hood.
Beware of this place!
I would NEVER tell anyone to come here! The girl at the front sat there and looked at me like I was crazy when I asked her for a wheelchair for my daughter. And then responded with we can’t go get anyone, advising me to have my daughter go down the elevator and take the lift. Rude staff and not empathetic to our situation at all.
Front desk staff was very rude today. The woman seemed to be Black and Asian, didn’t get her name. However, she was rude from the very beginning of our encounter. 0/10 service. The other staff was very welcoming though.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
