Oi Wah Stephanie Yap's Online Review Report Card

I found Dr Yap as a result of a Google search and she is amazing She is knowledgeable and professional yet friendly and very easy to talk to. She takes as much time as I need to answer every question. The office staff and the chemo nurse in particular are on top of every concern. Would recommend Northside all day every day.

Exceptional. Dr Yap and her staff have been amazing throughout my ovarian cancer diagnosis surgery chemo and follow up. I have found them to all be extremely knowledgeable compassionate and available. Never an issue to get questions or concerns addressed. I highly recommend with no reservations.

Outstanding surgeon. She is very talented caring and so highly thought of by other physicians. Dr. Yap takes time to listen and explain knows her stuff heck she went to Stanford Medical School and navigates you through treatments after surgery with compassion and concern. She is beyond thorough in surgery and in following you through your treatment. We are quite lucky to have a provider of this caliber in Atlanta helping women with ovarian and reproductive cancers. I certainly admire her positive attitude and joyful spirit especially given the weight of her profession. She takes care of us while being a mom Dr. Yap is exceptional.

Dr. Yap and her team are awesome. I’ve been a patient of hers for a few years. I went to her for a second opinion and because of her knowledge and experience I became her patient. She throughly explained what was going on and a plan. A few weeks ago she did my surgery. During my preop my nurse gave Dr. Yap praises on her knowledge and said there are several nurses who would recommend her for surgery. Dr. Yap called me a few days later to follow up. I’m still recovering and in the process I’ve seen two members of her team one due to a concern I had I called and was told to come into the office saw a doctor immediately. The office staff are friendly. The office is clean and seems to be well organized. They are definitely taking safety precautions due to COVID19. Dr. Yap is truly an amazing doctor and I would recommend her to any woman who is being referred to a gynecological oncologist.

When you can actually see Dr Yap she is phenomenal however the ability to see her is near impossible as she relies heavily on her PAs who sadly dont seem to know any more than my PCPs medical assistant. Additionally her PAs can come off rather lacking in empathy and compassion which one would think is a requirement in the world of oncology. Moreover if you are in remission or one of the very blessed and find out the tumor was benign the PAs sadly dont want you to waste their time. Since medical care is a group effort that generally require the patient to interact with a large group of medical professionals from office staff to MAs to PAs to physicians you should be comfortable and able to trust the care you get as a whole. Sadly this is not the case at with Dr. Yaps staff which is why I give this extraordinarily talented physician 2 stars.

I love this Doctor She is caring attentive takes her time explaining things and has caught my early vulvar cancer and all its recurrences

I AM IN THE MEDICAL FIELD AND I HAVE TO SAY DR YAP IS FANTASTIC. HER STAFF IS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND THE CARE I GOT AT NORTHSIDE HOSPITAL WAS FANTASTIC TOO. I HAVE ALREADY REFERRED HER 3 PATIENTS AND WILL CONTINUE TO DO SO. ITS RARE THAT YOU FIND THE STAFF AND THE DRS A PERFECT 10.

Dr Yap is an excellent doctor my other doctors have even said so. I’m not always crazy about physician assistants only because I want to hug Dr. Yap but her PA is a thoughtful person as well.
