List of Peachtree Orthopedics's Reviews
Called to speak with Dr. Oser’s nurse. I was rudely told by the receptionist ( who refused to give her name. I called at 10:35 am on 7/29. Check your recordings) he was no longer there. Then his medical nurse Nancy was even ruder. When I closed out our conversation by telling her have a nice weekend, she hung up on me. They both need to be fired. They have no business being in the profession of helping people.
Today I had the pleasure of going to Peachtree Orthopedics for a second opinion on an x-ray of my knee. I don’t have insurance and the doctor at Urgent Care recommended that I go here for further review and a second opinion. Julian at the front desk couldn’t have been nicer to me. First of all, I would like to compliment her on her charm. It was refreshing to get a “bubbly” personality from someone in healthcare as that has not been my usual experience. Her charm was overshadowed however by her ability to have empathy for my situation of having no insurance and having to pay out of pocket. I could sense from her that she genuinely wanted to help me regardless of my circumstances. And she was able to do just that. After coordinating with Miles at a nearby walk-in clinic, she was able to get me in immediately with Dr. Kristin Bohrer for an examination and she was able to honor Miles price at the walk-in clinic so that I wouldn’t have to spend too much and make a different appointment. Melinda was the assistant who helped me into my room, and much like Julian, she too was bubbly and cheery. I can’t stress enough how this attribute in a person who works in healthcare stretches so far with us folks who are looking to receive care in our time of need. Dr. Bohrer was also pleasant and attentive during my examination. She really listened to my story of how it happened. But the most important part was that she was incredibly thorough. Even though my injury was a minor one, I felt like she wanted to understand the full scope of everything. After it was all said and done, I was prescribed some rest and Aleve. I was in-and-out in less than hour. At the end, Julian even went above and beyond to ask me how everything went with Dr. Bohrer. Honestly I hope I never have to see them again, but if I do get injured again, I will return to Peachtree Orthopedics where I know that I’ll be treated right. I just hope that I really don’t kneed to. Haha ... get it? Kneed to?
Dr Kercher performed surgery on my right knee which has had decades old ACL failures. My previous career in the Army has definitely taken its toll on all my joints. Dr Kercher is a straight shooter along with his PA Nick Rossi both of which I can trust with any future care. Top notch service, ease of appointment making and a great staff all around at the West Paces office. Would easily recommend to family and friends. Thanks to the entire West Paces offices for truly great care where you’re listened to and not just a number.
Called from Charlotte for my daughter who is new to Atlanta and injured her ankle. Receptionist, Tanishawa diligently worked to find a doctor who could see her asap. Thanks to Tanishawa for caring so much and helping out a stranger. She found an opening with a highly qualified doctor who could see her in a few hours.
Was not happy with my expirence. Front desk and nurses were awesome! However Dr. Lahiji was not and would not recommend. I'm going to cancel my appointment and go some where else. Was a huge waste of time.
My first time seeing Dr. Carreira, and he was terrific! His friendly personality and his being totally present with me exceeded my expectations. He explained every detail and did not rush me. I highly recommend Dr. Carreira!
My daughter has been having a problem with 3 of her fingers locking up for a little over a year now. We have been seeing Dr. Dalal with Piedmont Orthopedics/OrthoAtlanta (which he has been awesome, and highly recommend them), but 2 surgeries later, and still having problems we were referred to Dr. McCullom. I called and set up the appointment, we drove 45 minutes to the appointment, and then once we get there and because my daughter recently turned 18, along with the Covid19, I was told that I could not go back there with her. Now, this is a NEW doctor that she has never met (which she did not feel comfortable seeing by herself), does not always remember what all has already been done to her (which has been a lot), and has some anxiety with her hand/arm and the problems already. They were rude to us and had no understanding as to why I needed to go back with her. I am very disappointed with them, and I do understand that there is a lot going on with the Covid19, but if your daughter ask for for me to be back there with her, they should make an exception. I have not had this problem anywhere else. Now, they did say she could call me when the doctor came in, but really....that was not going to work. I will be finding a new orthopedic for a second look. Shame on them, for not being understanding during this time. DISAPPOINTING!
Was referred to Dr McDonald for a second opinion on my leg. Was greeted by a nice young lady named Yasmine. She made us feel comfortable and when Dr. McDonald came in he had a professional confidence that assured me i was seeing the right person. I trust his opinion and i would recommend his services to everyone in need of an Orthopedic specialist. Thanks Dr. McDonald.
Very thorough and concerned evaluation .Dr. McDonald was a pleasure and I am scheduling hip surgery with him as soon as he has opening in the schedule. Cindy Battle

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
